Horse Lineart Question - Unsolved

I have a question... Why is it that these horses changed to this lineart:
But this horse that started with the same lineart now looks like the Yulynh horse? (I'm talking about the brown and white horse on the top left-hand side)


Are they going to be changed at some point and have been displayed in the Yulynh lineart for now? Or, when the linearts were being changed, was a mistake made in the type of lineart they should have been? Maybe it was easier to place them in the Yulynh lineart? I'm just a little confused...

They replaced the lineart because it turned out the older lines were traced.
They won't change the lineart again as far as I know.

I know why equimagine's linearts were changed, but why in the first picture did the lineart of the equimagine horse change into that particular lineart, while the brown and white horse that started with the same equimagine lineart changed into the standard Yulynh horse lineart? Does that make more sense?

The more special ones were replaced with a special lineart. The litter of the RBM (RainBowMane) is quite special since the RBM is so rare, so they wanted to keep those more special.

Are these horses considered special as well, then? (I can't even find these horses in the archives...)

When the old horse designs were transferred onto the new lineart, several players were worried popular pets such as the Rainbow Mane and PPS ponies would lose their charm and demand with the change, and a lot of players just liked the old lineart and didn't want it to disappear. As a result, the Rainbow Mane and its relatives (the littermates and the 2nd gen litter based on them) were given a special lineart similar to the old one but without the copied-from-photographs issue.

Okay, that makes more sense. Thank you Schuye Chevalier and SabjeBammie for your help. But I can't find these horses in the archives, either. They're supposed to be from February of 2010.

If you mean the 2nd gens, they're from Valentine's Day 2010.
