Oekaki editable?

Hi!
Sorry, I know millions of other cs-ians will have asked this question a million times but I am really confused!
How exactly do you make your picture an editable? Is that like coloring a picture in?
I'm not really sure!
Someone recently asked me to make one of my drawings an editable but I don't know how or what it means!!!
Please help!

Ok U made a drawing and if u would like to make it editiable u have to press colormein then U can mess with the layers to make a alpha lock and everything then it will go to colored in and u simply pm a mod to move it for u

So it will create a separate drawing that I can then post in colour me in section?
What is alpha lock? I think it means when the lines and stuff stay there but how do I do that?

You click Colour me in. and if you have multiple layer(Eg: Lines, Background, Colour ect.) Then save it, but don't post it. Now go to the Editable Oekaki section and post it there with all the rules and stuff.
