I posted not to long ago about this and there was no answer for the problem, Every time I attempt to run the Java Plug in, it crashes my entire Foxfire or makes it hang (freeze Up) but I can close it with the X button. This happens on every Browser I have. But it also wil do this when I run anything that runs the Java Applet. I'm getting really frustrated about it, there are so many things on the oekaki I want to do and it seems Java screws things up every time it updates, lol.

Have you tried uninstalling/redownloading/reinstalling Java?
Sounds like the updates are breaking the older versions. It happens.

@Bentley; I included the http:// part when I added it and that didn't change things. ^^;
Thank you for trying to find a solution for us! What do you mean by "breaking older versions"? I installed Java for the first time on a relatively new laptop just two weeks ago and it's having these issues.

I updated java and in the exceptions list put the url
- Code: Select all
http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/painting.php?f=30&mode=post
It now works fine.
☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆-☆ Can I tell you something...?
I want to tell you something...
It's just an old story.
I will sing the meanings...
That you taught me...
About devotion...

Hm, thanks for that! I'll take note that it's not the issue and see if I (or Draca) can come up with something else. :3
Newer versions of Java sometimes interfere with/are interfered by older versions of Java - that is, the stuff that made up Java before it was updated. ^^;

That'll work for posting in the Beginner's Oekaki, yes (the board ID for that area is 30). ^^;

!! Just found this!
Maybe... can someone try adding the slash to the end of the URL, if it's not there?

Yeah, I have tried that Multiple times. Even my parents that are experienced in Computer software and such can't figure it out. They tell me to Reformat it but I dont want to do that if I dont have to.

If someone with the security issue would please try this, it'd be a huge help, because then we'll know if it's just that or not.
Please, guys, we know the security issue's a thing, please help us figure out how to fix it.
