The tree shows up in the archives under Tree for me. It's from 2012, did you make sure to click the year tab at the top?

They're the same tree ^^ the tree with items that you initially posted looks "fuller" because of tree branch items, which were released during the advent calendar~

Error in item archive?....

The "free" filter isn't working. I go to http://www.chickensmoothie.com/archive/ ... Items/free here, and I see the contacts/facial hair items. It says "free items only" on the filter, however if I go to the shop, they cost 4 CS dollars each... will provide screenshots if necessary.

I am having the same problem in 2013, but it appears to be filtering properly in other years.

That's because it is basically a custom (only 10 were released) so it won't be put in the archive.

I was surprised to not see the Rainbow Smoothie on there, though it is really Rare.

I don't think the "custom items" would be on there. As I understand it, that would be more of a "custom item". Just like "custom pets" can't be put on the pet wish list.

The Rainbow Smoothie, the Chicken-O flags, hats and shirts, and the DIY cake set were all given out in limited numbers, and none of them are on there (or at least I couldn't find them). So, yes, it makes sense that items that were never really publicly available aren't there.

^ DIY Cake litter is in the archives because it was a participation prize for a site-wide event. The other items are customs, they either weren't released to the public, or were prizes for a thread contest back when CS was very small so only a small handful were released.
