Oekaki/Java problems & solutions

I don't know if there is a solution to this, I might have misread the first page. But how can I fix this?
I uninstalled java and then reinstalled it. Still won't work.]

i am having a problem to .... it does this ANY time i try to color an oekaki or draw 1.... & it was doing thi befor so i updated java when prompted by PC to in hope that wold fix the issue ... it did not

I'm trying to draw something and the layer box is gone. I think I accidently closed it by pushing a button or something, how do I get it back?

i am pretty sure I had done that for Java several times and nothing.
then I went to their troubleshooting and even their page had "we know this is a problem, but we don't know what it is"

In the menu bar:
View > Palettes > Show Layers

My computer keeps blocking oekaki. :(

Alright. So I have a brand new computer (which is running on Windows 8), and after I installed the latest Java I decided to try and get on Oekaki to see if it would work. But the screen turned completely white with a tiny error message in the top left hand corner. I clicked it and a bigger error message popped up stating that the ChibiPaint application was blocked..? Anyone else experiencing this same problem or know how to help? c: Thank you!

If that doesn't work, set up an exception (this is also for you, Aizui):
Control panel (Mac: Applications) > look/search for Java > Security > "Add site exception" > Add; in the little bar thing, type: "http://www.chickensmoothie.com" (without the quotes) > OK > OK. Restart browser.

ever since i've downloaded jtablet, i could not use oekaki at all. i've tried uninstalling it, but it still doesn't work. .-.

You sure you removed all of it? Sometimes uninstalling it leaves bits and pieces behind.

Looks like Java's hasn't been given permission to run in your browser.
Check this: http://java.com/en/download/help/enable_browser.xml
And if it's permitted there, you might want to check Java's CP:

You can also enable Java by going to your Control Panel, clicking on Java (or searching for it in the top right search bar), and going to the Security tab. Make sure that 'enable Java content in browsers' is checked on.

Yes, i've clicked the little circles but still nothing. My tablet works fine in PS though.

I didn't originally require jtablet, i guess my tablet already has it(or something similar) but would it make a difference if i downloaded it? It also worked just yesterday too.

My Okekaki isn't saving. It doesn't error or anything, it just says "Saving drawing, please wait..." and doesn't do anything. Also, I can't get rid of it once it pops up. I've got 12 of them sitting in a corner right now.

Script error might mean that an older version of Java is messing with things. I know it's a pain to ask, but perhaps try completely removing Java (make sure nothing's left) and redownload/reinstall it? You'll have to try the exception again as well, so you don't get the same issue as before. ^^;

Okay I will give that a shot later tonight, or tomorrow morning. Hopefully that fixes the problem.

Bentley & DoctorDraca, tried both ideas, it is enabled & i have chicken smoothie added on the acceptations list under cites to be omitted under security tab on my java,... did not fix it, i still get that image when i try to do any Oekaki art .... any other ideas?
