hello... I just need help with something.

I'm trying to put a gif in my desired picture, but every time I try to color in the background, nothing happens. I've tried three times and nothing is happening. Can someone help?

If you´re using the bucket tool, it might not work. You could try using the paint tool instead.

um... could anyone please explain to me how to split images and gifs? thank you, in advance!

i made a tutorial on how to split gifs, but forgot to post it xD


step one

go to http://www.ezgif.com, and click on 'GIF Crop'. upload the gif you want to split.


step two

once you've done that, you should see something like this. set the 'W' to however long you want the first part to be, and the 'H' to however tall you want it the gif to be. if you want the height to be the same as the original, put the height as big as possible [ex: 10000]



step three

change the 'Crop with*' box to ImageMagick for better quality [but a larger file size]. click 'crop it', scroll down, and save the file.



step four

change the number 'X1' box to the same number you put for 'W'. then click 'set'.



step four

hover over the right side of the selected portion, and drag it all the way to the edge. or, you can input a very large number into the 'W' box. then crop it, and save!!

get a canvas larger than your picture on pixlr. go to layer >> open image as layer. then use the select tool [shortcut: m] and select the the first portion you want. then use the move tool [shortcut: v] and move it slightly to the left / right depending on which side it's on. then save the image, and open it again and crop out the first part. then repeat, and crop out the second part. remember to save it as a .png!!

Ok... what does my signature show up as? Is it normal looking? I have no idea if it's the picture or what, but all it says is "img"

okay can someone show me in pm how to get rid of this? its large spaces between where the Transparent bit is and i cant seem to get rid of it!
