I don't know why but on both of my computers at two different houses it blocks me from using it and it says: Application blocked. Your security setting have blocked an application from running with an out-of-date or expired version of Java.
The only problem with that is Java is so annoying because there are so many to choose from.

So apparently there's a new Java update out which causes some issues on Macs. I've found little to no solutions yet (apple seems to have, though).
I'm doubtful about this, though, seeing as Java gets updated for security reasons.
If you must get art done, I suggest you do this until a new update pops up that fixes this issue..:astro cat:. wrote:I don't know why but on both of my computers at two different houses it blocks me from using it and it says: Application blocked. Please read the first page before asking questions. This question has been asked dozens of times and the solution is right there on the front page, answer 8.

My Oekaki started to work yesterday, now I tried drawing and it started to load, but it never fully loads and it won't let me scroll up or down.
Check the page before this. apple came up with a temporary solution for the latest Java update. Apparently it's causing some issues. Assuming that you own a Mac.Swarm the cat wrote:Problem: every time I download it doesn't work I tried everything I could but it won't even open!
( I guess it's not friendly on Mac book pros )
You mean that Chibipaint won't open or that the installation isn't going right? Either way, if you have the latest Java update, it's causing some issues. The page before this lists a solution, but I just suggest to hold tight and wait for a fix.
Oh, and Flashfire, please don't answer questions when you don't know what you're talking about. It's nice of you to try to help, but your solution won't do anything.

I believe you need to uninstall java and re-install it.
Have you tried that yet?
Yes, I have completely uninstalled java. I also did that thing that checks if you have it or any left overs of it on your computer, and it said that it did not. So, from what they say, I do not have an existing java program on my computer. When I try to reinstall it, this "Installation Failed" thing pops up~
