That might be a connection issue, nothing temporary. Completely end the browser session and then open your browser and try again.
Also, for everyone who's having trouble with Java freezing after loading up, are you all using Mac?

But did you completely end the session? Use ctrl + alt + delete and end FireFox, then try again.
