Hey all,

I've made a little tutorial which shows you how to make an adoptables system for your own website, using PHP. Obviously it does not have all the features that Chicken Smoothie does, but it's a great starting point! .

To complete the tutorial, you *must* have a good grasp of HTML. Ideally, you should already be using our HTML adoptables system, so that you are familiar with the concepts. You really don't need to know anything about PHP (you can get by with copying and pasting.. ) but it would really help!

I know a thing or two about HTML. I just use skysite, but there you don't log in or out. So do you know a site, where i can create a site like CS or something. Sorry my bad english -.-'

How would you do this in Dreamweaver? I bought Dreamweaver hoping it would be easier. Is it?? I find PHP a bit hard to do....

Dreamweaver doesn't have any features that help out here. Use the "code" display (instead of the "design" display) to edit. You will be using it as an overpriced text-editor.

Sorry, the tutorial requires that you understand how to write an HTML webpage and know a little PHP. You will have to read other tutorials before you can use this one.
