I was able to help two CS users who were having problems with Oekaki by relaying the information from this topic to them. I then gave both of them the link to this topic, so that they'd be able to come here if they have issues in the future. Thank you so much for doing this for us CS users who have issues with Oekaki and/or Java. Personally, I appreciate it very much. :)

Aww. Thank you for using this topic to help others. <3

I use firefox on my mac. And it lets me draw , I use the new javascript download , but I can't post the things that I draw.
When I press the button to post , it doesn't go to any page. It just stays the same.
So when I go to post it like this

And press the post button , it just goes back to this

Any help?

You need to have the 'enable in all browsers' option checked on.
Maybe something in your Chrome settings blocked it. I'm glad you got it working on Firefox, though.

The big red button that says 'free Java download' is the thing you need. That will take you to the download page that has another big red button. Click that too, and download & install.

Can you try to decrease it again? Most people find that 512MB is more than enough for Java to run.

I recently got a VisTablet PenPad, and it only runs on things that it's specifically allowed to run on. It's automatically allowed to run with Chrome, but it won't run with the ChibiPaint applet. In the settings, there's a window that says something about defining allowed applications. What exactly do I need to type in to define the ChibiPaint applet? I'm really sorry for the lack of screenshots.

I was getting the error message about the security issues--
so I re-downloaded the java thing and all;
That fixed it for a bit! I was able to draw, but after saving a picture everything messed up :^(
I had to close out of the internet, and when I tried Oekaki again the error message was back
I tried clearing my computer's history and whatnot but that didn't do anything u_u
What should I try next?

Wait, are you having issues with your computer blocking Chibipaint or your tablet settings blocking it? Because if it's the latter, then I really think the instruction manual can provide you with more answers than I can.

Check answer 8 on the first page. It deals with the security settings error. c:

I have a school computer, I've added chickensmoothie on the Java security list as I where told to do on both my computers. The computer at home works very well, as before, but my school comuter says that this site iisn't thrusted, I click OK and then the page turns blank only with a red sign and some red letters at the upper right corner. when I click on them a box appears and says Java codes, and I have options to "Clear" "refresh" and close. I've tried them all, but i don't know what to do how to get it to work ;n;
