Okay guys, I'm in need of a little assistance! I have a bunch of code and was wondering is there anyway to work out how many pixels it is? For example I want to put an image to the right of the text boxes is there any way to work out how tall that is? Thanks!!

There are a couple of ways to do that. If you are on a PC, use the snipping tool to take a screencap and save it to your desktop. Then right click the icon on the desktop, click properties, click details, look at the height and width info.

You can also make an educated guess by using other images. You could click and drag your 100x100 user pic next to it to try to estimate how tall it is. I just did that with my own user pic and I put my guess at 180 pixels tall.

There are also certain resizing webpages (such as webresizer.com) that will let you know the size of your image before and after the resize

She wants to know the height of the entire code, not an image.

(Oh by the way, my 180 pixels guess was just for the top text box, not the whole thing.)

Also, you can use this temporary image host if you want to mess with image sizes but don't want to cloud up a permanent hosting website.

Oh. Well in that case take a snapshot and then you can look at the height on the webpage.

To add, make sure that the image is hugging the thing you want to measure.

For example.

[Click 'n' drag if you can't see the whiteness/creaminess]

Image

This is what I just screenshotted. This isn't hugging the thing. Note the off-white/creamy borders around the whole thing.

Image

I put this through Paint and got this. Now note how all the creamy borders surrounding the previous img are gone.

In this case, my signature is 470 px x 381 px
