[IMPLEMENTED] Mark store pets as store pets

I think I'll get more creative with my bumps and just start posting pets that look alike or pets that are hard to tell that it's a store pet.

People need to be able to tell the difference between these two horses since one will never be released again, ever. Can we maybe have a simple tag on it?"

And I agree with shian, it's nearly impossible to tell them apart from regular pets. I thought I knew what all of the store pets look like and I almost had to click to see which on of those pets was a store pet, yikes.

I think store pets should just have a seperate co'or.
-Like rare is orange
-Common is green
-Omgsc is blue...

Maybe store pets should be yellow, pink...
I really don't care about tge colir but that way when you see the color you can be like "oh ya, that's a store pet"

I think having a separate color of rarity complicates it more, whereas a tag is pretty simple. ^^

Hmm....
On one hand the PPS and BBS tags do get in the way of some dressups. Throwing a tag on it could do the same thing in a minor fashion.
From a coding/setup stand point, I'd think making a new rarity would be faster to set up than open your art program and paste the new tag on every single store pet. (especially if you lost the originals of an older one, oops?)

Different rarity tags would help too but I'm honestly 100% for either solution.

Speaking of rarity, do you want to trade? They're both rare. My rare for your rare. It's totally a fair trade and they're both the same lineart

Huh, that's a good point. For some reason I forgot that adding a tag to the store pet images would require manually doing so haha

Maybe I'll figure out how to word the non-image-based solution and then put that into the first post as a potential solution (but I won't edit the poll since I don't want to risk resetting the votes after so long)

Also, that pet comparison is my favorite so far as I think that is very, VERY likely to actually happen. We've had quite a few store pets go rare; I think fewer and fewer users (other than new users) are surprised when popular store pets start out rare instead of very rare.

Here's a mistake that I actually made (posted a while back in this thread) (thankfully, no harm came of it; first link = they were the one who initiated the offer, second link = me sending the trade back asking if the user was sure they didn't want to add more on my side because their side had store pets, but they accepted anyway despite my message):

Yup. I got a story like that too. My sister was having a rough day so I sent her a trade with just random Christmas pets. You know, just normal CS pets from the Advent calendar and a few regular adopts. Just mindless clicking on a few extras I had at the time. None of them had a rarity tag yet.

Turns out... these aren't Christmas pets.


We've had ones with weird wings before though so I though nothing of it until I realized my mistake.
