You know that you can just click on the pet's image - without editing or any stuff like that - and you'll land on it's page, where you can see from which group it is.
Though it would be easier if the group's name was written underneath the pet, I don't think it's necessary.

This idea would make trading a lot easier as I have an adoption group and I always have to check that people are asking for pets from the adoption group instead of any other. I think this is a great idea, and you have my full support.
