Edit: Erm, I tried it out. It works, to a certain extent, but what DOESN'T work is that the images don't show up properly. I'm fairly sure it's a problem with adopttools.php. Could you, in the tutorial, instead of giving just a bit of the code we have to change, give the entire code?

I do, look for the link to the zip file at the end of the tutorial.

It still doesn't work... I'll fiddle with it for a bit.

Have you tried the suggestion in the first tutorial of commenting out the "header( ..." line from simple.php so that you can point your browser directly at the image link and see any error message?

I'll try that.

I'm going to try this out soon :D I have all the adoptables and that...I just need a good webhost.

The only thing I need help with is...

For the adoptables.xml file, it says:

<age image="adopts\dogbaby.png" />
<age date="2008-11-20" image="adoptables\dogpuppyrare.png" />
<age date="2008-11-25" image="adoptables\dogadultrare.png" />

Or something like that. How do I get it so that it doesn't change on a cretain date but instead just a few days after it was adopted?

:?

With this system, you can't. To do that, you'd really need to store a new bit of information for every pet which was adopted which records the date at which it was born. To do that, you'd need a database, which is significantly more complicated than this tutorial.. :).

Wow, I have to look at this! Maybe I can actually start my long-lost most likely never gonna happen dream of hosting an adoptables website THINGY.

Thanks~!
I don't go on this website anymore, or atleast under this username. I may resurface on a new account, but don't expect me to.
I hope everyone is alright with it. I'll be missing you all!
