I am going to contact OIE's creators right now about this issue so that we can get a definite answer. I will notify you all when they respond.

I did that a few months ago. I got no certain response about the problem, the admin told me that the problem was apparently fixed after I showed him what I was working with. I can get screenshots of the emails if that would help in any way. My last response never got replied to.

A tip: Try switching browsers.

Ugh, they seem to be giving me the same treatment. Could I get those screen caps from you?

They answered, it's just a roundabout, unspecific answer. They now want me to send them whatever image is giving me trouble. Ugh, I told them I was emailing on behalf of a group of about 50 coders with the problem. I don't HAVE one specific image! I'm going to keep talking with them a little more, but I don't think I'm going to get one set answer.

Animated gif's are always difficult. One program makes them on one way, another program might make them different. Although the result looks the same, the underlying things can be a bit different. Especiallu when there is an alpha channel involved.
Can you send me an animated gif an an image that you want to put on top of it, where the black background in occuring?
If i can reproduce the problem, i might be able to fix it...
There is also an option to add Transparency to an image. Did you try to use that to remove the black background?
If that also does not succeed, can you send me that image to?

Does anyone have a set of images they can give me that caused the black background glitch? I don't think this will help, but I'll let these guys do their thing.
Also, has anyone tried the transparency tool when the black background appeared?

This is the image I used that caused that background of it to go black, but I used the transparency tool when the black background appeared.
I don't have the three gifs anymore I used to make it, though.

If you look really closely between the top two images of the gif I posted, you can see the black in between

I was making this:

And as you can tell I got the black background glitch
You can see that I tried to use the transparency tool on it but there was still a bit of a problem on the edges. On the other hand, when I used the transparency tool on the image on the left of my signature it seemed to work just fine.

There is a possibility that it only looks that way in the preview. Try actually submitting the signature and see what happens. If 'So Silver Bright' still goes at the bottom of that you can try to resize the images to make them fit.
