So I looked on my phone and for some reason the text isn't showing up, just the pictures. Is that normal? Its showing up on my laptop perfectly, but on my phone, nothing. Thanks to anyone that helps!

The thing is, I'm pretty good at photoshop, but I'm not very good at decorating the middle. Anybody have any tips? Any "rules" to follow?

There is a Graphic design rule I can tell you about.
I will be doing a huge ass tutorial about it at a later date once I finish all of these signature commissions off.
Basically, this is called typographic visual hierarchy.
What is that exactly? Well, it is basically what it sounds like if you are into drastically long words that are unnecessary for things, it means visual font order.

But this can help with the organization of fonts and hierarchy when it comes to the middle of the signature, because I tend to not be able to figure out what I want in the middle as well.
Another point that may assist you or tickle you fancy is the colour scheme of the rest of the signature. I find if you have a light signature, your text will end up being light in the middle, and for the most part that can be a bad thing for a lot of people because they cannot read light text, myself for example; so I try and use lighter coloured text.
Finally, I would indulge in the use of the symbols on the front of the thread to make fancy looking symbols and little bits, those could change something from standard to interesting with ease.
Most of all, have fun with the exploration, this is just points from my POV where you can use to improve or take as advice or weed out the stuff you aren't interested in. I think that is it from my brain as of right now, so I do hope this helps some.

Sometimes this happen to me and my computer as well, and my phone. It is normal in that retrospect because sometimes if your internet is shot, then this happens so the page can be shown without any lag happening.
-Also I cannot stress this enough, please use a darker colour for your text here, this was blinding to read, or try and read.-

If you are referring to my signature, she got splatted by a little bit of crusted titan skin which is now evaporating into thin air, hence the smoke.

how do you split gifs so there is space for words in between? and how do you round the corners of gifs?

Go to OIE then crop the gif to whatever size you want then take that cropped gif to round pic, download the cropped gif and do whatever you want with the .......... whatever you have
