Hi! I've never used Oekaki before and I was just wondering if there's a way to insert images into Oekaki on mobile?

hi! there is not a way to insert images onto oekaki on any version. Best guess is it's to prevent tracing and art theft.

You can share art created outside of the Oekaki on the Creativity board in the appropriate subforum, such as Art Galleries & Discussion for general art sharing topics ^^

howdy! i don't know if this has been answered before, but i'm very new to using oekaki and am nervous about how it operates; if i've finished and posted a drawing, but want to use the lines from it again as a personal base, will selecting 'color me in' on the submission and then saving a new version overwrite the last one? <:3 (will the posted version be changed to the new saved one, i mean? idk if i'm wording this well, sorry T_T)

No, "Color Me In" creates a whole separate version, so you can reuse the same base over and over again!
"Edit Drawing" will overwrite the file, so do be careful which you click!

hii.. me again ! i was wondering if it's somehow possible to export art out of the oekaki, and how to get a transparent image? it always submits with a white background when i try, though i've given access to the art to the people it was for and they've managed to get transparent versions; i just can't figure out how @_@

you need to get the image link and then replace the format=auto with format=png, and then you can save it transparent <3

Hello! I have a problem.

Whenever I attempt to draw in oekaki, I notice a lot of the time my pen will leave random dots when attempting to do, well, anything. Here is an example of what I mean.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? I'm trying to puzzle out if it's a hardware issue or something else entirely.

If I were to delete this, would the drawing beneath it clip to the original post here?
