just a general protip for anyone whose pen pressure doesn't work -- if you have windows 10, try using microsoft edge for the oekaki. it's not the best browser ever, i know, but it's the only one that lets my pen pressure work for oekaki.

In the link it will have &format=auto somewhere [in the middle/toward the end I think], you need to change it to &format=png

hello,
i have a big problem since i have my new laptop
everytime i use oekaki and minimize the browser, the whole picture and layers are gone.
i can save the drawing and finish it later and the layers are there again, so at least it's not completly lost, but still it bugs me because i get thrown out of my concentration when i need to save and reload it every time this happens.
i use the same tools and programs like before with my old laptop
i have chicken paint and google chrome as browser, on my old laptop it was the same and nothing happened when i minimized the browser
(now i have windows 10, on the other i had windows 7)
does anybody have the same problem and knows the solution?

Neri, a few things. First, try hitting "TAB" when you bring the drawing back up. That button toggles the palettes - they might just be hidden, not missing. Not quite sure about the drawing going missing, but... it'd be a start.

Next, can you show a screenshot of the screen after it's been minimized and maximized again? I want to be sure I'm understanding the issue correctly, and sometimes it's just better to actually see it. ^^;; This does not happen to me when I use Chrome, and I'm on Windows 10 as well.

I restarted the browser in the meantime and now he stopped doing it. I wanted to make the screenshots now, but everything was normal. When i minimize and maximize again all layers and the picture are there.
Maybe it was a bug and restarting the browser helped.
if it happens again in the next time i will make screenshots and show it to you (and see if restarting the browser really helps or if it was something different)

I was working on a drawing in the oekaki, and simultaneously going back and forth to another tab that had my reference. I accidentally hit the 'x' button on the tab that had my drawing, and the usual message of "Are you sure you want to leave this page?" popped up. I said no, but when I looked at my drawing... there was no drawing. The screen was neither white nor gray, but the yellow-cream that is part of the cs layout. I decided to try saving (I didn't want to risk losing all of my progress), and reloading my drawing, but the same thing showed up. Does anyone know what I have to do to get my drawing back? It still shows up under 'saved drawings' normally, but when I try to load it the entire drawing area is that yellow-cream color.

*EDIT* Never mind, I opened a new tab, and tried loading the drawing from there and it worked. Apparently it was only the tab I nearly closed that was having issues.

I cant seem to get pen pressure to work on my browser no matter what I do. I've tried using IE, firefox, and google chrome. they all wont work with pen pressure not matter what version of the Oekaki I use. I've tried restarting my computer, and obviously using different browsers. what should I try next? I use windows 7, im not sure if that's part of the problem

EDIT: nevermind, fixed the problem myself. i had to uninstall and reinstall both jtablet and my wacom drivers
