Pi. wrote:hey there i have a couple questions! I am currently using a mac with the safari browser and chickenpaint and wish to use pen pressure. I have both java and the version of jtablet that is provided. However, when I go to help and then tablet support it says I do not have the plug-in installed. Am I using the incorrect plug in? Thanks for any answer.
You don't need Java or JTablet installed if you're using ChickenPaint. ^^;

Your tablet may have came with a CD from which you can download the proper plugins. If you have lost the CD you can try looking up the marker's website and see if they have anything to download there.
Aslo, there's no need to uninstall that stuff. It doesn't anything on chickenpaint, but you will probably need java for other sites at some point.

I actually just downloaded the most recent drivers from the website last week so i do not believe that is an issue.

It doesn't mention that you need JTablet though.
Also, if you made sure that you had all your drivers installed then I don't know what's the problem, unfortunately. ;c

In your Safari browser go to the help tab, and select the option "Installed Plug-ins." Do you see one for your tablet? It will most likely be called the Maker's Tablet Plugin. For instance mine is:
WacomTabletPlugin
Plugin for Wacom tablets. — from file “WacomTabletPlugin.plugin”.
If you don't see one like that you are going to need it.
Also, it might be helpful to know what type of tablet you have.

There appears to be no plug-in from my tablet. I am using a Wacom Bamboo Create. Where would I find this plug in?

I think it might be on your computer already and you have to instal it. Try searching for ".plugin" in Finder and the combing through the results for WacomTabletPlugin.plugin. It might have a lego looking thing as the icon if it is like mine.
If the serach yeild no result I think it should be located under
Library> Internet Plug-Ins.
Also, if you have the CD I mentioned earlier, it wouldn't hurt to try looking on that again and see if it is there if you can't find it.
Hopefully you can find it and instal it from there. I'm not sure if it will work though, since I don't remember how I got mine to work specifically. ;__;
