Unfortunately, no. Google is eliminating Java support. I highly recommend Firefox for Oekaki c:
yup, theyve disabled it this month, but if you have a version below 45 you should be able to enable it. i dont know if chrome auto updates chrome does NOT auto update as java is still working for me, but id still recommend switching to firefox for drawing in the oekaki before long.
all you have to do is paste chrome://flags/#enable-npapi into your address bar and click 'enable,' and that'll allow java to run. i dont know how long itll work, though, or if chrome will eventually auto update for me. its working at the moment, though.

That is true, I assumed they were talking about the newest version of chrome. Like we both said though it would probably still be a good idea to just go ahead and make the switch to Firefox. You wouldn't want to use a really outdated version of chrome anyway because that might cause issues in itself after a while. ^.^ <3

Today, I went to start a drawing using Google Chrome (I've had NPAPI enabled ever since the announcement of the future drop of support towards Java) and it told me that Java wasn't installed. I also checked the site and it said it had dropped support towards NPAPI, which is required for Java to work.
I'm not in need of help, as I now have Oekaki open in Firefox and it seems to be working fine. I'm just hoping to let you all know that the support has apparently been dropped now, and Chrome users should switch over to Firefox or another browser to use the Oekaki if they haven't already.

CSMintCat wrote:/whispers hey just popping in to say that I use Chrome and Oekaki is working fine for me ahh.
Though I'm p sure I did something about the auto-updates so I've been using the older version but ah.
Yeah.
If you have an older version of Chrome I think you'll be fine if you don't auto update...???
Idekkk.
as simon said, itd still be better to switch even if it is still working since using an older version for too long can cause problems with security and stuff ^_^

I'm really, really annoyed. Pen pressure is broken and I have no idea what I did wrong. I updated my tablet driver, latest version of Java, have Java configured to unblock JTablet and everything. Oekaki is working smoothly, but my pen pressure is dead. Did I miss something?

Well, I'm kind of confused
(probably just me being dumb o3o)
but whenever I try to save it says:
"access denied("java.net.SocketPermission" "75.101.141.188:80." "connect,resolve") Your drawing has not been saved."
I tried veryifying my java, but I really don't want to lose this drawing, I spent hours on it ;-;
