Are you posting pictures? For about a week after you join any post with pictures will need approval by mods. During that time, it's easiest to just avoid using images as much as possible. You can also tell the roleplay owner that you posted a form and it still needs to be approved, and they'll usually hold a spot open for you until it's approved.
