I do the same thing as the OP; edit the trade to make sure the other person is asking for a pet I'm willing to trade instead of a pet from another open group. (Like my pets for art groups, which may contain doubles of certain pets, and which is always open. I'd hate to accidentally trade away a pet that is payment for art, when a duplicate of said pet I'd rather trade is in a different group.) I think displaying the group name constantly would make things much easier. ^^
