Not a moderator response, just my own experience oop.
I’ve run into this exact issue before. After running a packet trace, I found that my ISP will sometimes temporarily block traffic from CS’s IP address. I’m not sure whether it’s due to high traffic or because my usage is being throttled, but the block only affects CS—no other sites are impacted.
In my case, the easiest solution was to use a VPN. When this happens, it isn’t the CS website causing the timeouts—it’s the ISP blocking the connection. A VPN bypasses that block, and since it works for me every time, I haven’t bothered calling my ISP when it happens.
That said, it might still be worth contacting your ISP if you’ve already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps: clearing your cache, restarting your router, switching browsers, testing both mobile and PC connections, and confirming that other websites load fine. If you’ve narrowed it down to just CS being inaccessible, then the ISP is likely the culprit.
When it does occur, the outage can last an hour or more, but in my experience, it always comes back on its own eventually.
