Re: Website not reachable

It happened again around at 11:05 (CS time). Restarting my router fixed the issue.

Edit: At 12:43 CS time I got the error once again, tried this time a VPN to see if that works, and magically everything works. I turned off the VPN again and got once again the error.

I am wondering if CS does randomly geoblock regions. :/

Once I reset my router manually again everything was fine again. I was relieved that during the event I only got once the error, but now on sunday everything is just worse.

I’m also getting this error! I tried resetting router and clearing my cache. It just says site can’t be reached and I can only load CS on my mobile data

At 13:25 CS time it happened again :( It seems the error seems to crop up for me mostly around the 11:00 - 14:00 CS time.

Not a moderator response, just my own experience oop.

I’ve run into this exact issue before. After running a packet trace, I found that my ISP will sometimes temporarily block traffic from CS’s IP address. I’m not sure whether it’s due to high traffic or because my usage is being throttled, but the block only affects CS—no other sites are impacted.
In my case, the easiest solution was to use a VPN. When this happens, it isn’t the CS website causing the timeouts—it’s the ISP blocking the connection. A VPN bypasses that block, and since it works for me every time, I haven’t bothered calling my ISP when it happens.

That said, it might still be worth contacting your ISP if you’ve already tried all the usual troubleshooting steps: clearing your cache, restarting your router, switching browsers, testing both mobile and PC connections, and confirming that other websites load fine. If you’ve narrowed it down to just CS being inaccessible, then the ISP is likely the culprit.

When it does occur, the outage can last an hour or more, but in my experience, it always comes back on its own eventually.
