I want to post a fan-fiction in the share your writing forum, but I don't know if it's appropriate. It includes blood\people dying. It does not include romance of any sort. I don't know if it's alright to post, so I would just like to know instead of posting it and then possibly get warned or banned.

It all depends on the wordage.

If you're going into great detail about the blood and wounds, it's probably not appropriate. If you're just mentioning it as a descriptor then going in to something else, it's probably okay. A good rule of thumb that I use for myself is, would a six to eight year old find it disturbing? Sorry, I guess someone else more helpful should answer ^^;

I also don't know that people might get offended somehow, like if they like this show, and they read the story. Would someone get offended by something like the fan-fic Cupcakes or Rainbow Factory (Those are MLP fan-fics)? My story is like kind of like that, just less violent.

Those are very inappropriate stories for CS because they focus on gore and torture. I think even if yours is less violent, it would still be inappropriate here because of the focus.

I'm just giving examples, it's hard to explain without showing the actual story. I wrote some of it, but only two parts that only have one sentence in the two parts that could be considered violent.

Your best bet is to PM the controversial parts to a mod. You don't get warnings by asking before posting
