how can you tell the difference a dog from a wolf on here?

"Dog" most commonly refers to dogs with this line art, but there are other dog line arts (Malk and Nick). However, those are almost always referred to as "Artist's Name dog". The wolf line art is by Malk.
The line arts do like quite different, really, and the dogs are much more popular than the rest, so you shouldn't have much of a problem telling them all apart.

Though, must mention, that some people do refer to the 'Dog' line art as a wolf. Most call it a dog though.
