How many pages till a new topic?

I was just wondering how many pages a thread should have until a new one is made. xD My current thread has 351 pages... should I make a new one?

And I was wondering if one user can transfer ownership of a post to another user... if that makes since. The second post on my thread is by a different user, and I'd really like to be able to use that post if they wouldn't mind. But would that even be possible?

New Posts should start anywhere from 350 pages and up, I think, as long as it was a well-used thread, it should be able to become a new one ;3

And yes, it is possible to swich a posts user, when a mod or Admin posts on this thread you can edit the front page to ask them to transfer ownership to you.

Most of the time it's usually 700+ pages.

it's usually about 8000-8500 posts and then make a new topic

When your topic reaches around 800 pages, you can make a new one to relieve the server from strain.

When you post a link to your topic, we can change the author of the second post.
