Are there any pets with a red/crescent moon theme?

hi there! i am a long time chicken smoothie-er and i want to decorate a pet to use in my signature for disability pride month. i am disabled by a blood disorder called sickle cell disease, which is a disease where one's red blood cells are crescent moon shaped instead of round and circular and causes an array of complications.

basically, i am looking for a pet to match the themes of this disease, so i am looking for something red and with crescent moon themes. i don't know if a pet that would work for this exists, so i am wondering if anyone knows a pet that fits this description? i'm hoping that out of 1000s of pets that exist here there is something that coincidentally fits this description. let me know and i will start my search to acquire it! <3 (and if not, i'll use the one that is currently in my bio, but i associate the disease with red since it affects blood)

I'm not sure how well this fits, but I immediately though of the Target Dog from September 2008:

But it might obviously be hard to find

Hiii, there's a guide here that shows a lot of themed pets- including moon themed ones! I looked through them and here are some-

^ From October 2008, so definitely hard to get, maybe not the best choice


^ February 2010, same dog but redrawn as a nick dog! Mildly less rare but probably still very difficult

^ February 2018- the whole litter is similar, but these are the pinkest (closest to red). If you don't like any of these maybe check out the rest of the litter!

Personally that's all I could find that were kinda close to red. You can look through all the pets yourself and see if anything is more of what you were thinking of, but these were the pink/red ones I saw that I thought fit. Good luck!

i wanted to update you guys that this is the one i'm going with. i actually have almost all of that litter (i just have so many pets i didn't remember it existed) but not that specific dog, so now i just have to track it down! i like how it has a deeper color than the lighter pets in that litter, but it's not like dark red like a lot of the other pets


i also was looking through the archives and found THIS ONE which also fits!! but i like the dog better since the crescent really stands out on the dog. the cat is pretty cool though because i feel like the red part is like a blood vessel and you can see a "sickle cell" by the shoulder and then some normally shaped blood cells as well (we have some normal shaped blood cells, they aren't all crescent shaped)

i also just realized there's a disability pride dress up contest so i'll definitely enter the dog in it once i can find it and dress it up. thanks again x)
