hair lineart not changing on dog?

i dont know if this is an issue people have figured out or if its just user error, but i bought a wig from the store and tried to put it on my dog. it has floppy ears, but all my wigs show except one the lineart for pointy ears. ive checked, the ones ive bought and the others i have are compatible with floppy eared dogs, and i thought they automatically changed, but even sorting wigs by category in species only shows one of them, the rest are static and wont change despite having sprites in the store and being BOUGHT as for floppy eared dogs

can someone help me??? is this a bug or something im missing?

Can you specify which dog and which hair item you are talking about? Sometimes there are issues with certain pets not being accurately labeled so that the wigs change to the appropriate type, but it sounds like one of them did change for this dog which means thats probably not the issue. The other thing it could be is that there is a difference between the dog lineart with both ears being floppy, and the linearts where only one of the ears is floppy (as well as the half-flop ears). Most of the wigs that do have a floppy-ear lineart are only for the dogs with both floppy ears, not the one-floppy, one-straight eared ones.

If it is a dog with both floppy ears and the wigs are not changing to the floppy variant (if one exists) than that can be reported on the archive errors thread here; Forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=110198

If you are talking about the dog in your welcome group with the current wig it has on, its cause the dog only has one floppy ear. It does look like one of the wigs you have was set to allow the one-floppy eared dogs to use the floppy eared varient of the wig, but the wig you are trying to use isn't set up for that. It probably could be, thats something you could also report on the above linked thread to ask it be changed, but its something thats not technically a bug, the wig just wasn't set up for that particular dog lineart to be able to use it (I don't think that variant of the lineart even existed at the time the wig was released).
