List of Stamps Featuring Unreleased Pets?

Following up my last question here as I work on my personal stamp ID doc: I was informed there’s a list on the forum somewhere of all the stamps featuring unreleased pets, but the person who told me said they weren’t able to find it—does anyone know where it is? Alongside Brokenstar, I believe I’ve encountered two other stamps not matching any released pets at the time
This
<- Although this does feature released items (Including contacts which make the pet harder to ID) there’s nothing in the release timeframe that matches the darker mark on the face and the lighter cheek spots

And this
<- Distinctly a warm black colour with a dark spot on the forehead which doesn’t match any juveniles at the time, only similar juvenile (June 2013 Bombay) has a different shading style

But I would like to save my archive scouring for the rest of the actually existing pets as doing thorough checks for pets that don’t exist is extremely time-consuming, so if anyone has that list post I will be eternally grateful, thank you <3

And I want to say there was at least one pet on a stamp that used to be unreleased but was later released as an actual pet, having a hard time remembering any specifics though, maybe my brain made that up lol, I did not find any corroborating posts which I was doing my searching. If this helps though, pretty sure the vast majority of stamps were made by Rainbow Dash who far as I know never had access to pet linearts, so any stamps from her shouldn't have unreleased pets. You might be able to contact her, she might be able to help you with which sets of stamps were not made by her so you can narrow down the pool at least.

I also don't think its beyond the realm of possibility that ones like the top one could be a real pet that ended up with artifacts from when the stamp was being made left on it, just stuff like spots ending up on there accidentally when adding stuff like the background and the artist forgot to remove them/didn't notice. Especially if it looks like they are on top of the shading rather than under it. Idk if there was a dog that matched the top one besides the spots and line. Since I have the dog lineart I tried recreating it and it looks like the line on the nose is intended to be shading and so would have been added only for the stamp and not part of a pet design, it actually very slightly overlaps the headdress lineart around the tooth (or maybe some of the tooth lineart got erased so it would blend better, heres a gif comparing the stamp with my recreation), either way it suggests this one at least was edited and had some elements added, so just something to consider. Only mention since it means some of these could have been a real pet that now look different unintentionally, or were the base lineart given a quick basic coloring to just be a default stand-in to put items around. Its possible the spots were also added when the stamp was made too since the default dog lineart doesn't have that nose highlight and the spots are almost exactly the same color.

I also checked out the cat stamp, and when I recreated that one I noticed a bunch of small subtle differences from the default shading on the lineart (specifically, extra highlighting all over the face + the ears have extra dark spots), I was looking through the archives trying to see if there was any artist that made those specific changes to their version of the cat lineart and noticed this cat from March 2011;



Has the exactly same spots on their forehead (there are actually two, one more near the middle and one over the eye) I think its just this lil guy, it just looks closer to black in the stamp, its actually a dark brown which is more obvious on the full version ^^ Tbf, I too thought it was black till I noticed this lol.

I think you’re right on both of these, tysm! I wasn’t sure if the spots were just a lighting quirk and of course I couldn’t doublecheck the lineart details to see what was shading, but I do think it’s just a black advent (Closest colour match) with Halloween items + contacts on it. I totally missed the kitten though, it’s definitely darker in the stamp.
