People are saying they are unable to send me a PM through here even though my setting says allow PM's, I don't have "allow to email me" on, could that be why? Any help would be appreciated

People are saying they are unable to send me a PM through here even though my setting says allow PM's, I don't have "allow to email me" on, could that be why? Any help would be appreciated

Make sure that you've checked off both "Allow users to send you private messages" here and one of the filtering options here that allow the PMs you want to receive.

If you set it to either "No" for the first one or "Only allow staff to send you private messages" for the second, regular users won't be able to message you. (And if you select "Only allow friends and staff to send you private messages," only staff and people you've added to your friends list will be able to message you. If you want to allow PMs in general, make sure you select one of the "Allow everybody ..." options!)
