oekaki gradient tool colors

if i have a specific color on my main color block in the bottom left corner, like i used a hex code in the box and i want to apply it to one of the two gradient colors, how can i do that? i hope this makes sense. basically the two gradient colors are completely separate from my palette and i can’t color pick for the two colors to change, i have to manually find the color within the separate color block for each part
