Touch Support in Dressup?

Hi! I'm trying to use a touchscreen tablet to dress up pets, specifically a Windows Surface Pro and a pen. Unfortunately the game doesn't register when I'm trying to drag items onto my pets. Is there a setting I can change so it works, or has this not been put into the game yet?
