banner pet doesn't show up in pets you've rec. in trades?

hiya, this might be entirely intended but i just got from the tavern and he did not show up in the "pets you've recently received in trades" section in the wishlist. it was only a mild inconvenience, but something i haven't encountered before? is this known/intended

Thats been happening with me too! None of the banner pets are popping the wishlist recent page. Not a big issue but it is strange

I'm guessing it's because pets have to be from a trade when they go into that menu (including from NPCs/pound), whereas the token pets are "adopted" rather than traded to you so it doesn't trigger, still slightly annoying

Just confirming that yes, that is the reason the tavern food pets don't show up under "pets you've recently received in trades" ^^

Yep, the "Pets received in trades" message only shows up when you get the pet in an actual trade, ie. from another player, from an NPC via token trade-in, or buying from the store. Besides banners and the "special token" giveaways like the tavern food, getting the pet from the regular adoption page, a free event giveaway, your own adopts growing up (as in, one of your still-growing pets was adopted late and grows into an outcome you've wishlisted), or anywhere else that doesn't generate a trade also won't trigger any notifications on the wishlist page.

In those cases, you can still see that you've gotten the pet and remove it from your wishlist if you want by selecting "Just pets I already own" from the dropdown options at the top of your wishlist.
