Help with summer event

I am so lost right now. Where are all these new pets coming from on the event like the plant cats and element creatures? I'm not sure where to find them on the event page since to me it does not look like anything new besides the free familiar items were added. Is there somewhere I'm not looking?

You have to click on the “adventurer’s only” section of the main map to get to here: faire/adventure

On that page, there’s two areas open right now with pets:
faire/forest
faire/mountain
