Question about event pets and token!!

Sorry if I'm reading too much into this, or I'm asking weird questions. I've been trying to get the bee squid from the Easter event all day, and I keep getting the egg squid (three so far). I was wondering if the chance of getting a certain pet in an event is based on what kind of event tokens you give or just random chance.

Pure chance! I've gotten 4 of the same pet before in past events... I suggest doing some swaps with other users rather than continuing to adopt, since most people will swap with pets from the same box!
