Weird trading issue?

I've been receiving trades from multiple different users today, all of which were trying to pay me C$ for pets in my shop group. From what it looks like, they were all trying to take some pets from that group and offering me C$ in return, but the trades have all been one sided. So, the pets these people wanted from me were not showing up in the trade, but the money they were offering was. And when I checked the descriptions of them in the trades tab, they said something along the lines of "[name] offered C$9." I accepted one of them thinking it was a gift, and the trade says "[name] gave you C$4." Most of them canceled and tried to trade again, but they gave up since the trade wasn't allowing them to take anything from my side. I don't know how else to describe this issue, since it's so bizarre and I've never came across it before.

I don't want to just steal C$ from these people, so I dunno what to do, or if I've messed something up somewhere. I apologize if this isn't the appropriate way to ask for help, but I don't know if this is something you use a help ticket for, or what. I couldn't find it in the "frequently asked questions" thread either. So maybe I just blinded it or something. If this is an inappropriate post, I'm sorry and feel free to lock
