INTERMEDIATE OEKAKI - Mod Filter?

I've noticed an alarming number of drawings in the Intermediate board that... well, frankly, they don't belong there.

The art in itself is fine, but the Intermediate board is for experienced artists and well-done art. (It's true that 'experienced' is an arguable term, so please don't flame about it.)

I think that what it needs is a filter of moderators; a group of people or mods. Each attempt to post there would send a message or email to all of the Intermediate moderators.It would need to be approved by 2 or more mods to get in to avoid bias.

So Nick, Tess, mods, what do you think?

Hmmm, it's a good thought, but they already move around drawings if they don't belong. It might just take longer for drawings to show. A have heard speak of a possibility of an making an audition or invite only oekaki board, but I'm not sure if that's on the to-do list. It would be about the same. :)

There are 2 people with the title Oekaki Moderator for a reason. They, plus any other moderator, move anything that is in the wrong area already.

Plus, the notifications you mention would fill an inbox 5+ times over in a day, a lot of oekakis get made every day.

Telescope has also correctly mentioned the idea of an invite only board being suggested and thought about before, but the likelihood of it is still unsure.

You could if you wanted, though it's not really something you should feel the need to do. There's really not that many. =] There are always worse things to report, afterall.
