My pets search

So as of recently due to offsite trading I've gotten /many/ pets. I now have accumulated over 2,000 pets and have come to find one problem in this...
Finding a specific pet in my thousands.
If I accidentally send one to the wrong group and I don't realize it... It ends up being lost in the abyss.

So my suggestion for Chicken Smoothie is...
Add a search option in our my pets page.

Now I realize this may be difficult to do for reasons like "How do you search for said pets" etc, etc.

But my idea branches out a little.
Maybe take the "Official names" of the pets and add them somewhere in the archives, and then tie this in with the pet search?

I will understand if this is too difficult since I don't do scripting or anything to do with website designs and such, but I found it to be a nice idea while I was *cough* still am..*Cough* looking for some particular pets in all of my groups.

It would also be helpful for organizing, seeing how many duplicates you have of a certain pet, etc.

I apologize if this has been suggested before, but I didn't see it anywhere in the FAQ or whatnot so I thought I'd throw it out there :3

I like the ideas, but it has been said before that the pets don't have any official names. And with the warrior cats they legally can't CALL them warrior cats, and they can't call them something different because that would get confusing for the people who know them by the Warrior cat names. Other names people would disagree with them.
But maybe searching for pet by year, or the name that you give them. Like you can search for 'A. P. Butterbun Footbean' (t's a bad example, but whatever, best I could think of. (I think I am going to name a pet this now though.))
Or something similar.
Very nice idea though, would be very useful if it was possible.

*Wasn't aware that they can't legally call them warrior cats xD*
They could arrange it to search by month and year then. That alone would help my issue by at least 80%
Or if it was a store release/UR.
Possibly by rarity.

Searching/sorting by rarity has been declined before. Can't remember the exact reasons. Most people don't like it because they feel it takes away from the value of pets just being pets. It makes them more like a currency than a creature. I personally don't care, but lots of people do.
(And I only know about the Warriors thing because I stalk this board. Literally.)

That makes sense as well. I think it might have to do with the fact that rarities change, so scripting might be more difficult for that method along with the reason for taking away from pets being pets.

I'll have to think of a way to take this rough draft of an idea and fine tune it because I think it would really benefit a lot of the users.

Definitely. Like I said, I would really like this, it just needs a way that can be possible.
