Trouble with Trade Messaging

Sorry to be a bother but I seem to have a problem.
My fiancee signed up here and I was trying to teach him how to send a trade when I noticed there is no message box for him at the bottom of the page. o_O He is defintely not under 13 so why is this? Plus I went to the forum to see if he could post, and there he seems to be able to post just fine, D:
He signed his correct birthyear, so I don't see what the problem is.

You didn't have to do that back when I joined in '08 and I had a long hiatus, so I guess this is I didn't knwo this xD
