Store Items?

Hello! I just thought of a major queston... are certian items in the store ever removed? Like, the pirate costumes for example. I'd love to get them, but at the moment i can't get any c$. I'm afraid that they would get discontinued at some point, and then no one would be willing to trade them. So can items ever be discontinued?

Yes, some items are only in the store for a certain amount of time. If you ever don't get the chance to buy an item before it is discontinued, however, I doubt you'll have too hard of a time finding people willing to trade them.

I think that everytime some store items are "limited" there's a note about that.

I don't think the pirates will be removed since I don't see the point of that and everyone should have a chance to have a pirate dog :D

Perhaps a bit repetitive, but, so far we've been given plenty of notice ahead of time before any store items are removed. So far, any store item that's only been up for a certain amount of time has also been marked as limited from the moment it hit the store (unless I'm mistaken). It's usually in connection to holidays as well; the only discontinued CS$ store items at this point are santa jumpsuit and x-mas tree decorations (christmas '09), monster eyes (halloween '10), and winter scarves (december '10).

If any of the long-running store items (like the pirate set) were to be removed, chances are you'd find out long before it'd ever happen. :3
