Tamari met Tex (her name for him) while lost in the cave system. Mari is a very social Sima and was rather lonely. Most of the other creatures in the cave ran away from her, and she had no luck finding other nearby. Minutes felt like hours and at this point all she longed for was to talk with someone. That's when Tex appeared on her nose, scaring the rest of daylight out of Mari. Tex matched her fear and stuck his arms in the air as he ran in circles on her nose. Mari watch crossed eyed at the spider and soon enough chuckled "looks like I scared you just as bad as you scared me... How long have you been with me?" She question. It seemed odd to think that a spider understood her but when he held up 3 legs, Mari blinked, astonished. "3 minutes??" She asked but Tex shook his head. "3 hours???" She asked again and Tex nodded before moving to her back and laying down bundled in her fur. Mari giggled "I wish you made yourself known sooner I really needed someone to talk to."

From that moment on Tex has been with Tamari, her friends were not pleased at her odd companionship with a spider but he eventually grew on them, showing them his fun unique personality for a spider.
