Basic Info:

To breed an equid you need to find a suitable mare and stallion to breed together.
You must get permission to breed from both owners in the form of a quote, a pm, or post which you show the breeding artist.
When a breeding artist announces they are open, you must send them a PM with all of the necessary information included.

It is up to you to keep track of breeding! If it is found that a mare or stallion has had too many foals then the newest foals will be deleted until it is back down to 10. Breeding spots to the other mare/stallion will be returned to them.

Each breeding artist does things a little differently, so be aware of their personal rules regarding breedings. These can be found in the individual artist's post below.

Official Rules regarding WME Breeding and Ownership:

NEW---> You are now allowed only ONE breeding per week per user, no matter which artist accepts your request.
--> You must have been registered for at least 3 months and have made at least 100 posts on the CS forums to adopt a Wild Mountain Equid or have a foal created from a breeding.
--> Equids must be at least 2 weeks old IRL before they are allowed to breed. (Example: A mare created on August 1st would be able to breed starting August 14th)
--> Equids can only be bred to other Equids.
--> You are not allowed to have another user send in your breeding request for you.
--> However, you may send in a breeding request to create a foal which the breeding artist will then make available for adoption through a contest, like first gen equids. You may specify if the foal is for equidless players, or, any users.
--> You may suggest traits you wish to see the foal inherit from the parents, as well as gender.
--> Breedings are now FREE unless you wish to suggest more than four (4) traits for the foal. See individual artist post for further information.
--> You must provide links to the actual Adoption Page for the equids used in the breedings when filling out request forms. Links to the actual image or to character pages do not count!

FOLKTALE'S IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

--> If you send me multiple breeding requests that do not follow the rules, I will not accept your breeding request AND I will put your username in my TIMEOUT corner. It will stay in the TIMEOUT corner for a month and during that time I will not accept any breeding requests from you.
--> If you continue to send me multiple breeding requests that do not follow the rules after being put in the TIMEOUT corner, I will not accept your breeding requests and I will place your username on my BREEDING BANNED list. I will not make a breeding for anyone on my BREEDING BANNED list.
--> Read the important info section, the Official Breeding rules, and the rest of my rules before directing questions about breedings to me. I am happy to answer queries IF they have not already been answered here.
--> If you have any concerns or qualms with a foal design I created, please feel free to PM me about it. I am happy to talk over any issues you might have regarding the foal.

--> Follow the basic breeding rules!
--> Only send in requests when the top of this post reads: "BREEDING STATUS: OPEN", or when I post on this thread announcing an opening.
--> PM your request with the word "Breeding" in the title
--> You may only include ONE (1) breeding per PM.
--> Each individual user may have ONE (1) breeding per month from me.
--> You can suggest/request/hint at up to four traits from a breeding for free, but if you have more than four, some kind of payment will be required. I am willing to accept pets OR artwork, but payment will be discussed through PM. But please remember: breedings are not customs! Hey guys,
I'm sorry that it got this far- but I'm closing up my breedings for a while. DO NOT ASK how long a while will be.
I know the harmless question "When are you opening up again?" isn't meant for any wrong doing- but I can't handle it.
I have a huge pet peeve of repetitiveness- and being constantly asked is making me feel pressured, and I just don't want to do breedings like that. Sorry guys, but I'm closed for the time being. And please do not pester me about what I will be opening back up. That will make the wait longer :/

Welcome to my humble little breeding post. I may be a little slow when doing my breedings due to my real life being a little hectic but I am going to do my best to get the breedings done within a reasonable time period and to the absolute best of my ability! I am always glad to answer any questions that anyone has or point them toward the right answer, though many answers can be found fairly easily so make sure to look around. Rules
~ PM me with your breeding request. There is a form just below that you can fill out for me.
~ You must have quoted permission from the owners of the equid if one or both equids do not belong to you.
~ Only one breeding per user per round.
~ Only one request per pm.
~ You cannot request for a friend.
~ With the new rules, you may request up to 4 features for free. If you don't have any requests then let me know I can have fun with it!
~ For breedings that wish more than 4 features there may be a payment applied.
~ You must link to the adoption pages of the stallion and mare you have permission to breed, not the direct image.
~ I am not making you a custom equid, please keep this in mind for requested features
~ I will not redo/redesign your breeding once I have completed it unless there are issues with CS rules that arise (I am going to be doing my best to avoid this), please keep this in mind when requesting features. It hurts my feelings when people ask, so sorry, no.

Regulations
~ Please title your PM to me "WME Breeding" or "Breeding Request" so I can keep track of things more easily when opening.
~ I will be opening for an average of 10 slots per round.
~ I will only accept a breeding request from you once a week to allow more people to have a chance at getting a slot. (this may change, things are still up in the air, may be every other week)
~ Please make sure to read all information on the Official Breeding post as well as my own rules before sending me a request or question.
~ At times I may open some slots that are reserved for "EQLess", you may not request a breeding unless you are an equidless player.
~ I will reply to the first 10 pms to let them know that they have been accepted. I will update the list with those that are accepted until all 10 sots are full
~ If you break regular Equid rules, Breeding rules or my personal rules then I will be forced to add you to a discipline list. When added to the list I will not accept breeding requests from you for 3 rounds. If the problem continues you will be added to a banned list and I will not breed for you at all.

~ Features that you would like to request for the foal must be found on one of the parents. If the foal is strongly resembling one parent over the other, changes will be made to avoid any problems.

Copper's Rules, Regulations and Need to Know Information

- Make sure to read any and all information on the Official Breeding post as well as my own rules before sending me a request or question.
- Fill out a form for Breeding requests and PM it to me (learn more rules below).
- An equid must be at least 2 weeks old in real time in order to be bred. Dates of creation will be checked and confirmed to make sure equids are old enough to breed before any breedings are accepted.
- You may request 4 features/preferences you want to see in the foal for free. More may be added but will usually cost you something. If you don't have any preferences let me know!
- The features/preferences you suggest are just suggestions and may or may not appear, i try to make foals unique
- Please title your PM to me "WME Breeding Request"
- All links to equids must be to the original adoption page, not their character page or an image URL
- You are allowed to send in only 1 Breeding request per user per round
- If you got a breeding in the last round, you can not get one in the current round.
- If you break regular Equid rules, Breeding rules or my personal rules you will be added to a list banning you temporarily from being able to receive a breeding from me or permanently from ever receiving a breeding done by me if any offenses continue or are repeated. included, i have a stricter rule, if any other artist for whatever reason has to put you on a banned or punished list you will be banned for the same duration from my breedings as well

TIP:Linking to your/another user's WME page thats lists the WME's slots there and who the slots goes to is a very helpful way to keep track of slots/who has them/and confirming that that person does indeed have permission. I prefer if you can show this along with quoted permission. but this isnt required, as not everyone has pages for their equids.
