My fear is extraordinary
It is the most useless emotion
It has terrible timing
It really only helps when I'm rhyming
it refuses to be present
when I need it, when I should be afraid
Yet it stays silent like I'm a death angel
or like I'm a raptor on the prowl
Sniffing and listening out, ready to maul
the difference between normal fear and mine
is that my lovely fear only shows up at the worst time
and I have no luck when it comes to prying it out of its hiding place
because If I should be afraid, fear never shows its face
