Written Part (Feel free to read this way)
Once upon a time there lived a young prince. He lived in a castle, magnificent and fine.
This prince's name was Fox and he loved to play tricks.
He was a trickster, his eyes a swirl of black and white.
In the morning he pranced around, crowing like a rooster who escaped the pen. Quickly the castle woke up again.
At midday he made ghosts of curtains, jiggling and giggling and making them sway. The maids chased and called but he quickly ran away.
At noon he gave flowers, by using his powers. They changed colour, but soon started to get duller. (Smiling couples + storkies)
And when the evening came he finished off the day, by stealing small treats from off the kitchen's treat tray. (For the prince)
But tonight was different, Fox snarled and hissed. He had to eat veggies? And dress up so tight? He had to be quiet and careful, polite?
This couldn't be fair. This couldn't be right.
Fox wasn't happy. And so gave them.
a
Fright.
Claws and Fangs. Long and white. Scales that sparkled and shone in the light.
Long dangerous horns and bat wings so broad. A dark black dragon stood tall and roared.
Capes flew, and swords fell, somebody somewhere started to howl. The Maids were afraid. The Knights got a fright. The castle inhabitants yelled and rebelled.
And soon no one remained. But one, unafraid.
Fox, the prince. Became a Dragon, so magnificent and fine.
"The castle." Fox growled. "Is Mine, all mine."
And so a lone dragon took over the castle. He prowled the halls, and had a ball.
He ate all the treats, and bounced on clean sheets. He shouted and roared for no reason at all.
With no one around, he did what he wanted. No knights, no maids, no one to complain.
There was no one around. But Fox sat down and frowned.
Who would sing to him? Who would play with him? Who would be there to read bedtime stories to him?
No one.
They had all gone away. So scared and afraid.
Fox lay down, crying and sad. He suddenly felt like he had been bad.
He could be nice, careful, polite. Please someone come back. Please make it alright.
โFoxโฆโ Called a voice. โPlease turn back my child, don't be so wild.โ
โIโm sorry.โ Fox said, a dragon no more. โCan the castle go back to before?โ
โWill you be nice? Polite? No more giving big frights?โ Fox nodded.
โThen I'm sure everything will be perfectly alright.โ
THE END.
