The King

• strongest dog in the kennel
• is the leader, takes care of all
• mates with the queen

The Queen

• highest ranking lassie in the kennel
• is second-in-command, takes care of ladies and younglings mostly
• mates with the king

The Medic

• is one of the smallest dogs in the kennel
• heals the sick and injured, takes care of everyone
• cannot have a mate or pups unless they resign from their position

The Guards

• the largest dogs in the kennel
• guard the territory and usually are the ones to fight in wars
• can only be mates with other guards and pups must grow up to be guards

The Soldiers

• are slightly smaller than guards although more lithe
• patrol the territory and borders and usually are the ones to hunt
• can only be mates with other soldiers and pups must grow up to be soldiers

The Eagers

• the second youngest dogs in the kennel
• train to either be medic, guard, soldier, or maid and usually follow their mentor around
• cannot have a mate or pups as they are underaged

The Ladies

• lassies that have pups and were previously guards, soldiers, queen, or maids
• don't go on patrols, can only care for pups and sometimes hunt
• can only be mates with other dogs in their ranks and pups must also grow up to that rank

The Younglings

• the youngest dogs in the kennel
• don't participate in any activities, can only stay in nursery with mothers
• cannot have a mate or pups as they are underaged

The Maids

• lowest ranking dogs in the kennel
• fetch bedding for their kennelmates and usually are picked for any activities
• can only be mates with other maids and pups must grow up to be maids

𝗜sla Gris, a kingdom filled with darkness and sins. Rotting away with the secrets of the majestic land are dogs.
Dogs that have been kept from the residents of the kingdom for decades. They live underneath the royal family
's castle and haunt the kingdom from the shadows. Known as The Heirs, these majestic creatures subject to no
body except for their King and Queen. Sometimes the dogs seek power in places that they shouldn't seek, the
Underworld.

𝗧he roles of The Heirs are very simple. The highest ranks are the King and Queen, followed by the Medic and
the Guards. After them, come the Soldiers, the Eagers, and then the Ladies. The two lowest ranks are the Ma
ids and the Younglings. Any dog that steps out of it's rank boundaries will be dealt with harshly and swiftly. T
he King, Queen, and Guards have the ability to reform any dog that disobeys the rules, whether it be a kind p
unishment or a harsh one. Ladies and Younglings are the only ranks that may not be harshly treated due to th
e orders of the King and Queen.

𝗕reeds that are commonly born into The Heirs are Otterhounds, Azawakhs, Colton de Tulears, Old English She
epdogs, Mudis, and Berger Picards. While these are the most common and well-liked among The Heirs, the ke
nnel also accepts breeds such as Pharoah Hounds, Leonbergers, Skye Terriers, Boykin Spaniels, Cane Corsos, a
nd Stabyhouns. The Heirs will never accept any Swedish Vallhunds, German Shepherds, Harriers, Chihuahuas,
Staffordshire Terriers, or Chow Chows.

𝐇e was alone, hidden deep beneath the kingdom. His kennel was killed in what was supposed to be a peaceful gathering. He could still see the falling bodies of his kennelmates, the screams of terror that they had let out. They had fallen, never to get back up again. He had done everything he could to help them, but it was not enough. Even his pup, who he had managed to escape with, passed away due to sickness. The kingdom life was not as joyous as it had once been. Filled with life and happiness, the underground passages were now as empty as his heart. But he had to continue, for them. For the friends and family he had lost. He had to slowly rebuild the kennel and fill it with the strongest, most independent dogs he could find. This was the uprising, and no dog was going to stand in the way.

𝐖hen the lights went dark, Aegeus brought his newest recruit out to the dock. Something about the way her beautiful fur glistened in the moonlight, made him want to curl up with her. Stars reflected off the lake and shone in both the dogs' eyes. "Your land is beautiful." She whispered. Aegeus blinked as his words caught in his throat. The gorgeous queen seemed to have knowledge even he couldn't muster, and yet, she was eager to learn everything she could. Perhaps, that would come into great use.
