These are all stories and scenes from my RISE clan, Stormclan. These will all be written by me and feature the cats in my clan. Thesewill all be character building, clan building or tasks needed to level up.

Donor is against clan law, as breeding must be kept between clan cats. Males can hide it by saying they found abandoned kits inside the clan borders, females won't be able to hide it that well.

If clan cats breed, they'll likely be mates. Ice is not allowed a mate and this would go against clan code for her to breed, as she's a med cat. It is advised against a leader breeding (Especially a female), but it is allowed. Wolf could breed.

Icewing has vowed herself to her mate in starclan, so she would refuse to breed/be mates with anyone. Plus it is against the warrior code since she's a medicine cat.

Breeding Future plots:
1. Ice could breed with male donor M1 (who is dove, just less white) and the whole clan keeps thinking dove is the father because the kits look like him, but it was really an outsider. Dove is neutered (because he was a kittypet). This would cause the clan to hate Dovecall and question his loyalty to starclan.
2. Wolfstar breeds with donor M5, the clan find out and there is an uproar. Thistlespot is mad and wants to cast the kits out, Dovecall thinks they're cute and should stay, Icewing is in panic about it. The clan eventually warms up to them. - can't be used
3. Thistlespot breeds with donor F5 and pretends he's found kits inside the clan territory, but they're secretly his. They grow up not knowing, but they make him so proud and happy. - Plot being used for This breeding scene
4. Dovecall breeds with donor F1 (A kittypet) and Thistlespot finds out and confronts him, worried that Dovecall is trying to go back to the soft life of a kittypet.
5. Female breeds with donor M1, Dove finds out but agrees to keep quiet about it and be the adoptive father.
6. A pair breed inside the clan, no issues and the kits and pair lead a normal life as mates. (Would have to be Wolf x Smoke)
7. Bramble is the only female that could breed to any male within the clan without consequence/It being an issue.
8. Dovecall breeds with an outsider (StarSong's Nightlily) and Sootstrike is born. Sootstrike influences Wolf x Smoke's child and eventually becomes mates with them. The two of them lead a rebellion against stormclan, using every kit that is born in the clan after thunderkit (does not include thunderkit) as their army. - Plot being used for shared breeding with StarSong
9. Wolfstar breeds with Smokestep and cindershade is born. She is the leader of the 2nd clan that will become the rebellion against stormclan. Angry with her mother for not putting her in power, despite being her daughter and "rightful" heir to the leader title of the clan. She eventually leads the rebellion into battle and many cats die from both sides but eventually reunites the clans. - Plot being used for this breeding scene
10. Cindershade x Sootstrike creates a daughter. One that will help to join both clans together with the help of the prophesied cat (thunderkit). Born in the second clan, found by thunderkit and tells stormclan everything that the second clan is planning. Eventually becomes mates with thunderkit after the clans reunite.
11. Icewing breeds with a donor that looks exactly like snowball (from another user) and the daughter eventually finds her way to the clan as an adult.

The story so far:
Wolfstar leaves her family and looks for a new home, somewhere that she can truly feel at home. She finds stormclan territory and stormclan is formed. She first met icewing, who told her about the prophecy that she was told by starclan and how wolf was meant to lead cats to greatness. Wolf agrees to meet the ancestors at the moonpool and is made the leader of a new clan called stormclan. Icewing becomes the medicine cat. All dens were made by wolfstar and she made sure that everything was just the way she wanted before recruiting more cats.

Thistlespot came from a kittypet family with a ruthless father. The father wanted to take thistle and in exchange, the family would never hear from the father again. After some time of training in the forest with his father, thistle finds out that his father really isn't a nice cat. In an effort to run away, thistle attacks his father and runs away as far as he can, eventually finding stormclan. Once in stormclan territory, thistle stays around there for a few moons until he meets wolfstar. They have a fight and find out that they are evenly matched. Impressed by wolf's skill, thistle agrees to join the clan and eventually becomes deputy.

Dovecall came from a large family of fancy kittypets. Unfortunately, he was sold to a twoleg who did the bare minimum to look after him, which left him hungry for adventure and something... Different and new. Dove escapes using the fence and goes off into the forest. After a few moons of living in the forest and learning to hunt using the squeaks and other noises of prey, he is found by thistlespot who he later becomes good friends with. Curious and intrigued by the sound of what clan life could be like, dove decides to join the clan and earn his place among them.

The clan camp is invaded by a small white dog that is merely the size of an apprentice. Dovecall, the one that leads the dog to the clan in the first place, is absolutely terrified of the thing and is being very overdramatic about the whole situation. Icewing volunteers to help the dog find it's owner so that it can return home safely, all while nuzzling into its comfortable white fur.

Thistlespot meets a female rogue that intrigues him. Instead of driving her off of the territory like he usually would, he decides to talk with her. He realises that he has a lot in common with her and he finds her quite humorous and interesting. After a few more visits, he asks if she will be his mate. This begins his relationship with the rogue.

Smudgenose came from a very broken home that never had much hope for him. The amount of times he was attacked by his own family and left to die was rather frightful. After his brother killed his best friend pearl, a kittypet, he finally realised that it was time to leave and find somewhere better. When he told his father that he was going to leave however, this did not go down so well. Once again, he was clawed and left to bleed out. Fortunately, he survived and never looked back after. He ran away and found the stormclan camp. After resting and cleaning his wounds, he stumbled upon dovecall, who offered him protection by joining the clan, which he gladly took.

Thunderkit was born to thistlespot and the rogue female. This mating should never occurred and it is a dark secret that thistlespot hopes will never be found out. Thistle was very worried when he found out about the mother carrying his kit, but he stayed in hopes that it could work out and they would still be a family. After further thinking and planning, both parents decided that it would be safer if thunder never knew who his father was and that it would be best if he was taken into the clan as a lost kit that was found in the territory. Oh, the trouble thistle would get into if the clan were to find out who thunder's father is. No matter what others say, thistle will always be proud of thunder and will love him no matter what.

Thistlespot realises that it's a good idea to part with the rogue after having thunderkit, so they go their separate ways.

Bramblethorn was born to a family where she always felt overshadowed. Her brother was constantly praised more than her and she felt as though she was never really loved or even belonged in the family. She tried everything to prove herself to her parents, but it was never enough to them. She could always have "done better" in their eyes. Furious, bramblethorn left the family and her old name of "cinder" behind in search for a new life. She strumbled upon stormclan and was taken in once she talked to wolfstar. Bitter and grumpy at others at first, she felt as though everyone was still judging her and that she didn't fit into the clan. Once she was able to talk to dovecall more, she fell in love with him and adopted his way of thinking, leading her to become a much more friendly and happy cat. Although she isn't with dovecall romantically, she will always be thankful to him and for what a good friend to her he has been.

Dovecall decides to ask thistlespot why thistlespot hates kittypets so much, only to find out that he used to be one and now despises them because of it. Out of excitement, dovecall asks for thistlespot's kittypet name, which he begrudingly answers with. Dovecall now has a new way to pester thistlespot.

Smokestep was in a small family where he would always be competitive with his brother. It being a "good" kind of competitive, they would always find little challenges to see who would stack up on the leaderboard and be the best cat at a particular thing. However, nothing good will last forever and a new group of rogues moved in nearby to their home. Curious about the rogue's, smoke's brother began to hang around them more often. Once the rogues felt as though they had smoke's brother's trust, the offered him to become one of them. For a price. The price? To kill his mother and father, which he gladly did in cold blood. Smoke was there to witness the killings and immediately confronted his brother, leading them each to go their separate ways. Smoke didn't want to be anywhere near the murderous traitor after that and decided to run far away to a place where he wouldn't have to worry about the band of rogues. He eventually ran into stormclan territory, where he met wolfstar and took an immediate liking to her. He accepted to join the clan and happily participates in making it better. All while keeping an eye on wolfstar, as he likes her as just more than a friend. Maybe one day he can confess such a thing to her.

Thunderkit adventures off by himself and was discovered by a large male rogue. This can't be good. Luckily, smokestep was nearby and heard his yowl for help. After smokestep leaps to the rescue and keeps the rogue at bay, thunderkit races to camp to look for his father, thistlespot for help. Thunderkit and thistlespot race back to smokestep and the rogue to find smokestep about to be dealt a finishing blow by the rogue. Thistlespot leaps at the rogue, stopping him and pinning him down. Something smells... Oddly familiar? In a way that made his fur bristle. No matter. Thistlespot warns the rogue to stay out of the territory. The rogue gets up after thistlespot lets him and runs away.

Lichenpaw kinda just popped up on stormclan territory with no idea about his past or who he was at any moment before that point in time. He isn't too sure about anything to do with his family and his guess is as good as the next cat. He didn't even have a name. All he knows is that he was a young kit when he was found by thunderpaw, who made lichenpaw follow him back to the territory and reported lichenpaw's appearance to the deputy. The clan made a vote to take him in and he eventually gained a liking to healing others, which made him icewing's apprentice. He got his name from icewing, as he wanted a name that was plant-like but wasn't sure which until icewing uttered the word "lichen".

Songbird was adopted into a small twoleg family when she was only very young. Unfortunately for her, the young twoleg kit proved to be quite a "pawful". She was more of a housecat. A cat that was destined to live inside a twoleg home and never get the freedom of being outside. That was, until she was let outside one time and met a curious wren, who she grew rather fond of. Each time she was allowed outside she would go and see the small bird more. Eventually, she realised that she had enough of the kittypet life and just wanted to live with the wren in the forest. So that's exactly what she did. They took care of each other and their friendship grew. But she knew it would not be so easy to look after themselves like this forever. She went looking for help and found the clan, where she decided to join on the condition that the wren would not be harmed. She asked to be called "songbird" after the bird's happy song, which wolfstar accepted. The small bird was given a blueberry stain on his chest so that he could be told apart from other wrens and songbird happily hung out with him still while in the clan. To the dismay of other cats, she would only seem to hang out with the bird and not with other cats.

Into future:

Stormclan has more run-ins with the rogue that attacked thunderkit. Thistlespot then realises that it is in fact his father. The two eventually have a fight to the death and thistlespot is left victor, killing his own father. His family back home is now safe from the tyrant and he no longer has to worry about the large rogue hurting anyone else anymore.

Lichenpaw is found in the clan territory with no memory of his past life, past self or even his name. Wolfstar offers him a spot in stormclan so that he can be kept safe. The clan tries to come up with a name for the young tom. He expresses that he would like a plant-based name but was unsure of a name. Icewing suggested lichen, which made him very happy. He eventually became icewing's apprentice and they are much happier having each other to talk to.

Thunderkit's mother comes back and storms into the clan camp, demanding to thistlespot that she will take thunderkit back and he is rightfully hers. Thunderkit eventually refuses to go and the rogue leaves, but the information is now leaked that thistlespot is actually thunderkit's father.

Wolfstar is outraged when she learns of thistlespot's betrayal to the clan code in taking a rogue as a mate and having a kit with them. Thistlespot is exiled, along with thunderheart for being half rogue and half clan cat.

Thunderheart spits in thistlespot's face about how he always looked up to him as a kit and always wanted to be just like him. He feels as though everything he was ever told and everything he ever knew was just a lie. All of this happens while thunderheart is pinning thistlespot down. Thistlespot doesn't resist as he knows he was in the wrong and there is no point fighting and making his son feel worse. Thunderheart lashes out with a paw at thistlespot in anger, leaving a scar that is dangerously close to his eye. Thistlespot allows thunderheart to say all he wants to say and allows him to calm down. Once thunderheart gets everything off of his chest, thistlespot calmly tells him his side and why he hid that he was his father and how it was in order to provide protection to the both of them. He knew the clan wouldn't take him in if they knew that thistlespot was the father. Thunderheart lets thistlespot get up, no longer pinning him. He better understands why everything happened the way it did and is now regretful of lashing out at his father. The two of them make up.

While out on a patrol with icewing to the moonpool, wolfstar is attacked by a group of 2 large foxes. Unable to defend both herself and icewing from two large creatures, she nearly gives up hope. Luckily, thistlespot and thunderheart are nearby and hear the cries of wolfstar and icewing. Thistlespot insists that they have to help but thunderheart isn't so sure. They both eventually go to help the others and manage to fend off the foxes, saving the two she-cats. Wolfstar is startled to see the two again, but is grateful that they decided to save them, even after being exiled. She decides to take the two back to camp with her and let them both have a second shot at being clan cats.

Smudgenose confronts his family, showing how much stronger he has become and that he is no longer afraid of them. He battles them and comes out as the victor. All cats were badly injured from the battle but all survive. Smudgenose has finally stood up to the thing that has been keeping him down for so long. He now feels like a new cat, stronger than ever before and no longer afraid of the challenges that he may face.

Smokestep confesses how he feels towards wolfstar and she reciprocates the feeling. They share their stories of how they felt about each other and how they were afraid to tell each other and what the clan would think of the leader taking a mate or if he was worthy of being her mate. They become mates and are happily in love.

Icewing breeds with a donor that looks exactly like snowball (from another user) and the daughter eventually finds her way to the clan as an adult/apprentice. Icewing is faced with a difficult decision of clan life or family, which she can't decide between. Her daughter can see just how hard it is for her mother to pick so she decides to stay in the clan and become a warrior. Clan cats are worried that icewing might not be a loyal medicine cat once her daughter joins, but she proves them wrong and becomes both a loyal medicine cat and a loving mother.

Dovecall breeds with an outsider (StarSong's Nightlily) and Sootstrike is born. Dovecall tries to hide it like thistlespot did, but is afraid that he will be banished just like thistlespot was. He tells wolfstar in private but the clan eventually all knows, as dovecall did not keep it a secret to sootstrike that he is in fact the father. No punishments are given, just a scolding and a meeting of the clan, declaring that this sort of behaviour cannot go on.

Wolfstar breeds with Smokestep and cindershade is born. Cinderkit was easily influenced by sootkit and became good friends with each other very quickly. Wolfstar and smokestep try to keep a watchful eye on their daughter, as they love her very much and don't want her to get into trouble or even worse, injured.

Songbird's wren is killed by a rogue (thistlespot's father?) and she is now left with a hollow heart. She requests that her name is changed to "rosewhisker", as the name "songbird" only brings her pain. She is left to talk to others now and eventually becomes much more social and liked by the clan.

Brightshadow is found around stormclan territory by an adventurous rumblepaw. She realises that he is a tad clumsy. They talk and get along well. He finds out she is expecting kits, so he decides to offer her a spot in the clan. Brightshadow gratefully accepts the offer.

Cindershade is exiled for trying to kill rumblespark. Sootstrike is tired of the way stormclan is being run and angry that Cindershade isn't the deputy, despite her being the rightful "heir" to the leadership of the clan. The two take all the kits that have been born in the clan after thunderheart and leave, forming their own clan and army with those that they take with them. Lichenpaw realises that the two don't properly know how to lead and are only young. He joins them in an effort to help prevent senseless deaths.

Cindershade x Sootstrike create a daughter. One that will help to join both clans together with the help of the prophesied cat (thunderkit). Born in the second clan but found by thunderkit, she tells stormclan everything that the second clan is planning. Eventually becomes mates with thunderkit after the clans reunite.

Stormclan has a big battle with the second clan. Lichenpaw reunites with icewing and the two begin healing stormclan cats and cats from the second clan that request it, as long as they agree to cease the senseless fighting. Sootstrike attacks lichenpaw, calling him a traitor, lichenpaw survives with mild wounds, as dovecall leaps to his aid and goes to take on the very cat that he created. Dovecall isn't so fortunate and comes out badly injured. Cindershade dies just as she starts to regret everything in her final breaths. She apologizes to that cat that causes her death, wolfstar or smokestep. Peace is restored and the clans become one again. Sootstrike realises just what he has done and decides to look after his father as an apology for the mistakes that he has made.

Wolf was busy stalking prey, a vole. She was nearly on top of it before she heard a rustle behind her, then a thud, followed by a growl and sigh of annoyance.
"Not again" a she-cat's voice could be heard, close to where Wolf was hunting.
"You've got that right" Wolf huffed to herself before changing direction of her stalking to the direction from where the voice was last heard.
Wolf stayed low to the ground, as to not make any noise and alert the other she-cat of her presence.
Wolf moved into a patch of thick grass, good enough to hide her but it also let her see the scene that was unfolding before her.
A white she-cat was hunting in her territory, and trying to steal her food! Although admittedly, she was doing a horrible job at it.
"I've got you this time!" She yowls, causing any prey she was hunting to instantly scatter.
She sighed in a defeated tone.
"I'm never going to get this right."
Wolf gracefully walked out from the grass.
"Not if you yowl so loudly as to scare the prey off. Your hunting could use a little work" she said, warily. Eying this white cat up, to see what she'd do next.
The White she-cat gave a startled squeak.
"I uh... I wasn't expecting anyone else to be here. Who are you, anyway? My name is Ice" she said stuttering, fear evident in her voice.
Wolf stood proud.
"I am wolf, leader of stormclan and owner of this territory"
"Well... I don't see much of a clan? Where are the rest of your clan mates?" Ice looked around, confused.
"I... Haven't gotten up to that part yet. It's just me, for now. Tell ya what, I'll teach you to hunt if you teach me about this area. I haven't been here too long" Wolfstar smiled as she made ice the offer.
"I don't know how to fight or hunt, but I'm pretty good with herbs and healing! How about I be your medicine cat? I can even introduce you to starclan and you can be a proper leader? How about that, Wolfstar?" She gave a happy grin.
Wolf looked Ice up and down before making her decision.
"You've got a deal. It would be nice to have another cat around. Come with me, I'll show you the territory and your new home!" Wolfstar bounds back the way she came.
The two she-cats walk off in the direction of the camp.

"Thistlespot!" A loud cry ran out from the stormclan camp.
A young golden spotted tom rushed out from the warrior's den.
"Yes Wolfstar?" He huffs, a little panic stricken and out of breath.
"You were in charge of the last hunting party, weren't you?" She mews.
"Yes, I was, I managed to catch a crow and vole, Dovecall caught a shrew and mouse, that... Should have been enough food for one cat each in the camp?" Panicking still, Thistlespot shuffles nervously, tail swishing.
He takes a glace at the food pile, where the food should have been. All the food seemed to be missing.
Wolfstar points her tail towards the food pile, tail lashing angrily.
"The food is gone! No one has eaten yet! Care to tell me where you think it went?" she hisses.
A smaller white cat emerges from the warrior's den, confused about all the shouting.
"What's going on?" He mews at Thistlespot, confused.
Thistlespot catches him up with what's going on, while Wolfstar waits patiently for him to finish explaining.
"Oh!" Dovecall exclaims. "I saw a black shadow last night around the food pile and thought it was one of you guys!"
"...Dovecall, none of our pelts are black." Wolfstar sighs.
"Right, I knew that..." Dovecall looks a little embarrassed now.
He suddenly realises that there's only 1 ginger cat, 1 golden cat and 2 white cats in the clan.
"I guess I didn't realise that at the time" he looks at the ground, now ashamed.
Wolfstar and Thistlespot sigh.
"Thistlespot, would you mind investigating the camp to see if you can find out the mysterious black shadow was?" Wolfstar asks Thistlespot, more calm now and no longer annoyed.
"Will do Wolfstar" He mews.
Wolfstar gives a dismissive flick of her tail, signalling the cats to get back to what they were doing before.
Thistlespot asks Dovecall to give him all the information he can on the black figure. He finds that the shadow was large and black, with seemingly glowing yellow eyes.
Thistlespot surveys the area around the food pile, managing to find some foot prints from something that looks a little larger than any of his clan mates.
He follows them and finds that they lead to out the camp.
"Let's do this" he confidently mews to himself, before disappearing into the brambles surrounding the camp.

"DOG! THERE'S A DOG!" A loud, panick stricken yowl ran out from across the camp.
A white and chocolate tom came bursting through the camp's entrance, hair on end.
He stops in the middle of camp, panting.
"Oh dear, are you hurt?" A pure white she-cat mews calmly from the medicine den.
"Now's not the time for that, Icewing! A huge dog is coming and gonna attack the camp!" He yowls hysterically.
Fear grows on Icewing's face and she stands there stunned for a few seconds, before racing into the leader's den, to consult her about what to do.
A golden tom comes out from the warriors den, slight concern showing in his eyes.
"Dovecall... Did you just say there was a dog?" He stares at Dovecall, panic starting to show.
"Yes Thistlespot! It was HUGE!" Dovecall practically screams at him.
"And... Was this dog following you by chance?" Thistlespots eyes start to widen, as crashing can be head behind Dovecall.
"Oh fluff..." Dovecall murmurs under his breath.
"What is going on..." A ginger she-cat runs out of the leader den, followed by Icewing, before stopping mid-sentence in horror, as she hears the loud crashing and waits for something to appear.
The bracken sounds as if it is being destroyed by the horrifying beat that is to come and destroy what will once be the Stormclan camp. Everyone can only stare in horror for what is to come.
Thistlespot bares his teeth and claws, waiting and prepared to attack whatever comes forth from the entrance of the camp, Dovecall hides behind him, shaking a little and wide eyed.
Finally, it appears. Leaping through the brambles of the entrance. A tiny, white fluffy cloud, no smaller than an apprentice. It gives a small squeak, a weak attempt at a bark that it seemly just can't get out.
"THERE IT IS!" Dovecall wails in horror.
Everyone stares at him long and hard for a few seconds, before the tiny cloud approaches them.
"Stay back! It could attack!" Dovecall cries.
While it is tiny and fluffy, the clan acknowledges that it still might not be friendly.
Thistlespot raises his paw in preparation to deliver a blow to the helpless cottonball. Just before the blow hits, the dog comes up to him and licks him right on the nose, tail wagging wildly. Thistlespot stops, startled. He could only stare back at the tiny thing as it looks excitedly back at him.
Icewing cautiously sneaks up to it, pawing at the soft creature.
"Oh my, it's... So fluffy!" She squeals in delight.
"No, Icewing! It's a terrifying creature that's come to destroy the camp!" Dovecall yowls, still hysterical.
"The only thing it's about to destroy is my heart! Just look at the darling thing! It's probably lost and it's twoleg is looking for it!" Icewing sympathises with the small dog.
Dovewing walks up to it.
Okay, but I'm still not gonna trust this thing" He raises his paw towards the small puppy to gesture towards it.
Taking it as a sign that he wanted to play, the dog lunges forward, showering Dovecall's paw with licks.
"I'm being attacked!" Dovecall screams.
"Oh don't be such a kit, Dovecall. I'll try to escort the poor thing back to their twoleg, perhaps I can get some more yarrow on the way, we're out of it" Icewing mews calmly, rubbing against the soft fur of the dog.
"Okay Icewing, if you're sure..." Dovecall mumbles back. "Just get this thing away from camp!"
Icewing looks to Wolfstar for approval, Wolfstar nods her head.
Icewing gives a flick of her tail as a wave and then starts walking away, the small pup that is about half the height of the cats, takes it as a sign to follow her and leaves with her.
Wolfstar and Thistlespot exchange glaces before staring at Dovecall.
"Dovecall!" They both mew in an authoritative tone. It was then, that Dovecall knew he messed up.
"Whoops?" He ducks down as Thistlespot swings a soft blow at him, to teach him a lesson about putting the clan in such a panic over something so small.

"Nearly there..."
A small scurrying noise could be heard close by.
"Just one more step..."
The scurrying begins getting closer.
"Aaaaaand..."
A sudden, startled squeak could be heard a few steps away.
"Gotcha!"
A vole falls into a hole with leaves covering it, causing the leaves to give way and the small creature to fall in, stunned.
"Great! That's dinner sorted!" A white and chocolate tom steps out from behind a bush that he was observing the vole from and approaches the hole triumphantly.
He reaches into the hole with his paw and grabs the vole with his claws, before swiftly biting the back of it's neck, leaving the tiny body limp and lifeless.
"Didn't your mentor ever teach you not to play with your food?" A rather harsh and uninviting voice growled at him.
"Who... Who said that?" He mewed nervously, dropping the vole in shock.
A golden rosetted tom sneaks out from the underbrush, eyes cold and distrust gleaming from his green gaze.
He stands proud, almost as if to intimidate the white tom.
"What's your name? And what are you doing on Stormclan territory?" The golden tom holds back a hiss at the end of his sentence, his claws already half unsheathed.
"I... I'm Dove." The white tom stammers. He lowers his head and keeps his body to the ground, as a sign of submission and that he didn't want to cause trouble.
"Don't come any closer, or I'll show you why my name is Thistle!" The golden tom raises his voice, growing impatient.
"I don't want any trouble, I just came here to hunt so I could eat tonight." Dove's voice starts to shake a little.
"Well, Dove..." Thistle mews mockingly. "I'm from Stormclan, a group of warrior cats. We don't take too kindly to trespassers." He spits at the white tom.
"Wait! I've heard about you guys! Let me join! I can help, I know you guys are looking for more members!" Dove's eyes glisten with hope.
The golden tom sizes him up. "Wait... You're a kittypet, aren't you? You don't have any skills, you'll only drag us down." Thistle looks down at Dove in disgust.
Dove rises from his submissive position, into a more confident stance.
"My whole family might have been kittypets, but I aspire to be more than just that! I'll prove you all wrong, just you watch!" He mews back, eager to prove this clan cat wrong.
"We'll see, kittypet, follow me. I'll see what our leader wants to do with you." His gaze still sharp.
Thistle starts walking away, towards the larger trees in the forest.
Dovecall freezes, unsure of what to do.
"Well? You coming along?" Thistle stops and calls back, his voice more calm this time, with a hint of curiosity.
"You bet!" Dove calls before racing to catch up with him.

"Gather around Stormclan! It is time for a clan meeting!" Wolfstar perches on the highest level of the high rock, Thistlespot waiting patiently to the right of her.
Icewing emerges from her den, while Dovecall takes a little bit longer, but eventually comes out of the warriors den and picks a spot to sit, right next to Icewing under the high rock.
"Now that everyone has gathered..." She clears her throat before continuing. "It has come to my attention that the prey has been running low this leaf-bare." she flicks her ear towards the prey pile, showing the lack of prey.
"Due to this, I advise that we have more hunting patrols. I will join in so it won't be just Thistlespot and Dovecall. One warrior will have to stay behind, so we'll take turns. Whoever catches the most prey in the last hunting patrol will take the next one out to rest and keep lookout over camp while the others are gone. Any questions?" Wolfstar informs the clan.
She looks to her right where Thistlespot sat, he gave her a quick nod in approval of what she just said.
She then looked at the rest of the clan.
Dovecall stared back up at her with a determined look in his eyes, showing that he is eager to help the clan more.
Icewing had a more concerned look, perhaps because she couldn't help in this.
No one raised their tails to speak or objected this order.
"Good." She nods her head before continuing. "Are there any concerns from any other cats? Now is the time to speak up about them!" She encouraged the clan.
"My herbs have been slow to grow this leaf-bare..." Icewing mews rather quietyly. "Perhaps anyone could bring any herbs they find back to me? It would really help with my stores." She stops and looks over at Dovecall. "Dovecall, I need some more Yarrow, you know that one? The one we went to get that time you came with me." She asks him.
"Of course, Icewing! I'd be happy to!" Dovecall cheerily mews back, happy to help his clanmate.
"Good." Wolfstar nods to the both of them. "Are there any other concerns?" She looks at them again, curious.
"I'm sick of all this cold, white stuff! When is it gonna end?" Thistlespot grumbles.
"I dunno about that Thistlespot, I kinda like it! It's pretty!" Dovecall chimes, looking around at the cold white stuff that has coated the clan camp.
"Soon, Thistlespot. Leaf-bare will come to an end soon enough. When it is warmer, it will leave. They prey will come back and the greenery will return." She comforts him.
"Now, is there any other issues?" She asks.
All the cats shake their heads, showing that no other concerns were present.
"Good, clan dismissed." Wolfstar flicks her tail dismissively before returning to her den to get out of the cold, Thistlespot following her to share tongues.
Icewing heads to her den, Dovecall following close behind.
"Hey Icewing!" He calls to her.
"Yes Dovecall?" She mews, curiously.
"How about we go and look for that yarrow that you wanted?" He asks, knowing it would please her.
"Of course, thank you Dovecall!" She mews in delight.
They both walk out of her den to the clan entrance, sharing ideas about where the best spots to look would be, before leaving to find the herbs.

"Wait... you're expecting kits?" A golden furred tom looked up, shocked. His eyes widening in surprise.
"No. This can't be happening. I'm a clan cat, for starclan's sake!" He thought to himself, not daring to say out loud. Fear and panic set in. The tom's fur starts to stand on end and he realises this. He quickly resorts to grooming himself, in a feeble attempt to trying to hide his panic and make his fur flat once again.

"Yes, Thistlespot. I am." A brown-furred she-cat looks up at him, searching his eyes for any hint of what she hoped would be excitement. She was wary of her answer, knowing it is likely not the one that he wanted.

This isn't what he wanted. He knew his love for her couldn't last forever. It was wrong, a clear violation of the warrior code. He couldn't resist her, and now he had to pay the ultimate price. Kits that he won't get to see grow up, or even get to see again. He knows he'll now have to block her out, denying that the kits were ever his. His heart begins to ache. He looks down at the ground, shuffling his paws. He is visibly upset.

She runs her tail along his jaw, making him look up at her, sadness clear in his green gaze.
"You know..." The she-cat began, "I... I don't think I can look after these kits by myself. Perhaps it would be better if you took them to your clan, they'd have a much better life there and be taken care of. Protected. Things that I can't provide, your clan could." She gently mews to him. Trying to cheer him up, she gently nuzzles into his soft fur, purring.

He looks down at her, the same love he had always felt for her clear in his eyes. He smiled, unable to hide it anymore, she always knew just how to cheer him up.

"You... You really think so? But what about you, won't you be sad to lose them?" His voice sparks a little with excitement at first, but it is soon extinguished at the thought of his mate losing the kits.

She gives a dismissive flick of her ear.
"I can raise them until they're ready. Then I know they'll be safe and go to a good home. I'll give you some time to think about it." The brown she-cat gets up and looks back at Thistlespot. She gives him a final nuzzle and a quick lick on the cheek, before weaving her way into the trees, disappearing.

"What am I gonna do?" He sighs in defeat, looking down into the small pool of water before him.
If he goes back to the clan with his kits, he'll be questioned. The warrior code states that he's not allowed to mate with cats outside of his clan. He'd be sent away from his clan and so would his kits. He couldn't do that to them, no.

He looked up at the moon on the seemingly starless night, no more than a few mere stars popping up through the dark sea of blue. On this night, the stars seemed further away than they had ever felt to him. Perhaps this is a sign that starclan had abandoned him, or maybe a sign that they no longer accepted him for breaking the very thing he swore to protect?

"Starclan, give me a sign that you haven't forsaken me!" He yowls into the cool, night breeze.
A small twinkle appears from a star that seemed closer than the others. Perhaps that was a sign, perhaps starclan hadn't forsaken him after all. He couldn't know for certain until it will be too late.

He prayed to starclan that no harm would fall upon his kits, the soon to be father was worried, anxious even. If starclan didn't approve of this, they could ruin this for him. They could destroy him and everything he loves. No, no one must ever know.

He gets up, unable to lie down anymore with the nervous energy he was now carrying. He paces back and forth, trying to think of a way to make this work. Claws unsheathed, making small indentations in the soft soil each time he paced.

The anxious feeling was suddenly replaced with anger. Why had he done this? He had risked everything. Was it really worth all this trouble? For the new life growing in his mate's stomach? He lashes his tail, before clawing a nearby oak tree to relieve some stress. He sighs, letting in deep breaths.

Calming down a little and able to clear his mind, he finally had time to think about this properly. This could be a good thing, he could love these kits and have a perfect family.

He suddenly got an idea. He realized that he could pass them off as lost or abandoned kits, on the condition that he pays a price. The price being? The kits will never know who their parents were. But this would ensure their safety in the clan. He had to do it.

So, when the seal mink she-cat came back to him with the kits, he took them. He made sure that they didn't know who he was, only to know that they'd be taken to a better home. His heart ached to tell him, he needed to. But he couldn't. They would lead a normal life knowing nothing, their clanmates would be happier not knowing that he broke the warrior code, too. He didn't want his kits to feel the wrath of an angry clan, he wanted them the be greeted with open paws.

"At least I get to see them grow up." He mewed, trying to make himself feel better about the situation.

He looks ahead to see his kits cheerily playing in the camp clearing.
"These are my kits. They might not know it yet, nor may they ever know it, but I vow to protect them and love them with everything I have." He whispers to himself, his head held high and eyes filled with nothing but love and excitement.

He couldn't wait for his kits to grow up and see what fine warriors they would become.
