loretta is a college dropout, a lush addict, and a bit
of a clutz, but when her father offered his bookstore
to her, she went on impulse and told him "hell yea!"
who knows if that's a good idea? time will tell. she's
quirky and peppy and honestly always has too much
energy at 5am. she's indecisive and curious, so not
only does she take forever to decide what to do, she
also has to look into every possible outcome, even if
it's totally wacky or bonkers. she lives in the tiny loft
above the bookstore-- a studio apartment, if you
could call it that-- has about 5 things, and her most
prized possessions are her wii and her bathtub. she
is usually lounging on her dusty old couch, either
clacking away on her computer or binge-watching
a random anime she found on netflix. her myanime-
list is a book in itself. also, she usually has a face
mask on, or one is sitting on her stained coffee
table, ready to be used. basically everything lorie
owns is second-hand; she finessed the couch from
the college dorm trash pile when she moved out
and doesn't really have a care about it. she had to
leave college because of the finances, and it was
the hardest issue she's ever had to make. lorie
tries not to let it get her down, but she thinks abt
going back when business picks up at the store. if
it ever will. nevertheless, she keeps her head up.
each day is a new one for stocking, for selling, for
a new bath bomb in the tub and just letting loose!

- was going to college for journalism & english double major
- really quick at stocking and taking inventory. crazy efficient
- always rambling on about some random book or anime ep
- she's not rly poor, even though she kind of lives like it? she
just hates spending hella money; putting it towards college
- comes off as a ditz, but is crazy smart. was on the dean's list
- favorite anime of all time is neon genesis evangelion ya boi
- always has to have music playing in her store/in apartment
- big fan of piano instrumentals & will ALWAYS prefer bach
- super interested in art history & buys amazon prints of
iconic, older pieces. she knows it's not very Right but hey yolo
- owns so much corduroy. pinafores? skirts? jackets? all of it
- bought a bisexual belt at pride last year and wears it always
- wants the new iphone XS but then remembers she's poor :-(
- has maybe one friend and is rly lonely. always wants more
- goes to the lush next to her store in the strip mall too much
- a crazy insomniac. can never seem to sleep but always has
energy anyways? lush's ickle baby bot knocks her right out tho
- big 5-sugar, 3-cream coffee fan but will personally fight tea
