lavenderclan is a new clan, formed by the river-hunter dragon. the clan is named for the lavender plants that dot the cliff on with their camp rests. most of the cats who aren't born in the clan are kittypets from the village far from their side of the island, rouges who snuck on ships traveling there.

traditions:

- kits with traditional names are named with -minnow at the end. exceptions are: minnow-, and they end with no suffix until understudy age.
- understudies with traditional names are named with -silver. exceptions are: silver-, copper-, and they end with no suffix until graduation
- the chief's firstborn is next in line, unless they are unstable, unable to complete duties, or outright refuse to do so. then, the next kit born will take their place. the heir is leader of the council, and if no heir is available, the healer is then leader.
- traitors are taken to mars point, and left there. if they make it back to camp alive, they are forgiven. if not, then they are found guilty. returned traitors spend 5 moons as a servant to make up for their crimes.
- when elders retire, they drink from cassandra's spring. they are then treasured almost as much as kits, as elder's can change the future.

chief - like the leader of a normal clan
council - the group of high ranking cats in the clan. the heir, the chiefs, an elder and a keeper make up the council
healer - the medicine cat. consults with the star-cats and a key player in the council
war chief - like the deputy, only with training and patrols, as well as battle plans.
hunt chief - like the deputy, only with hunting patrols and also protects the prey
warriors - under the war chief's command. patrols the border, trains understudies, and fights in battles
hunters- under the hunt chief's command. hunts, trains understudies and protects the camp when the warriors are fighting
understudies - apprentices. they can learn 3 different paths, hunter, warrior & healer
defenseless - queens, kits and elders.
insane - insane cats aren't insane, they are cats that are very strong, and are second only to council cats
prisoners - prisoners of war
