Prompt - Describe a character's reaction to getting rejected

Main Character - Lynxheart

The tom had his eyes on her since he joined the Dawnclan. The tan tabby she-cat became his world when he saw her exiting the cave of the Lapis of the Moon. He was a rouge his whole life and when she asked him if he was chosen by Starclan to be his deputy, he said yes and made up a false history. Starclan did send him, they think, perhaps hope, that he can change. How could he tell her that he killed for fun? That he enjoyed having cats beg for their life under his paws before watching said life fade from their eyes? The one thing he knew about Clan cats is that they did not like killing. In fact, they forbid it. If he wanted her, he had to act kind. He had to buy his time and get close to her.

After a few moons, they became close friends. As Aurorastar's deputy and friend, Lynxheart was usally always with her. That was until Aurorastar decided to go out alone and let a kittypet follow her. Tigerflame was flirty and constently hung around Aurorastar. Lynxheart was infuriated that she would allow a cat like that into the clan. Aurorastar even gave him the apprentice that Lynxheart brought back to camp. When Aurorastar began getting ready to got to the Lapis of the Moon, she let the old kittypet go instead of the deputy so trusted. That was when he snapped. Based on the look in her eyes, Aurorastar saw Tigerflame differently than him. It broke his heart to be left as only friends. He turned and began making moves on Skystorm. He did not like her but it would be a good cover if something just happened "accidently" to Tigerflame. He would not let Tigerflame get away with stealing him love. But how exactly to make him pay? How exactly to make them both pay? Lynxheart's bloodlust bubbled when he thought about how they would have kits. What if they lost their kits? That's a rather interesting possibility that might just work. Lynxheart needed help though. Having kits with Skystorm is just what he needs. At least one of the kits would help him. Yes, that would be a perfect idea. The kits would not only provide cover, but possible future followers too. Lynxheart chuckled darkly as his claws sunk deep into the soft grass of the moor. Until then though, he needed someone on his side to make sure they train a kit and make sure no one suspects him. That stupid prophecy wasn't helping nor was the fact that he was cruel to Fawnfeather. She would also pay. Its her's and Tigerflame's fault that Aurorastar looked at him differently. A twinge of fear has wormed its way into her usually calm and happy expression. They made her scared of him. He didn't want that. That wasn't supposed to happen. Any deaths would help her as well. He could kill any cats that made her not like him, to cause him to be rejected by the cat he loved first and nothing could stop him.
