10.23.2015

I finally got to the plane ! The ride was smooth and everything went well. I used all the money I had from many years ago, but it was worth it ! I just exited the place where we landed and I already can feel the difference between here and where I live.

The air here is really pure, and the people around me are really different, they speak really fast and I Can’t understand what they’re saying, it is really hard.

I took a ride in some family car that was going to the same - not exactly- place as me ! I felt so relieved that I won't have to go alone in there !! They showed me some maps and gave me really good tips about the place I was going to. It’s almost nighttime and they’ll stop in a hotel to sleep a bit, I’ll stay in the car since I don’t have money for this. I'll write more tomorrow.

They finally woke up !! And they bought me some donuts, I've never eaten one with that kind of flavour, I'm 100% jealous now...

They stopped in a kind of shopping to run some errands and they let me explore for a bit. I found a store about Snakes and I found some really cute looking ones in there ! They even let me hold one for a bit, but I got scared when it hissed at me, I guess this snake didn’t like me, but I took some pictures ! I’ll put them in there later.

It was almost noon and we finally arrived at our destination…or at least the close they could get to MY destination…
We bid our farewells and I finally got my things and marched into the forest, not knowing what I could find in there.

I actually found this one really cute ! His name was Ebi, and he just stared at me, he didn't scare me so that was a bonus. I don't know how I can be a veterinary if they keep scaring me !!

I'm writting this between two days, since I'm still trekking around the forest and I can’t stop too much. I have some food and water with me, but hopefully I’ll find something to eat until I eat everything.

I started hearing footsteps behind me, but everytime I turn to look at what is following me I just get face to face with am empty space and some flying leafs as if someone was running away from me… But why are they so fast??? How can they do that!?

My flashlight batteries died some hours ago and it’s already getting dark out there….

I’m back ! I finally caught what was following me ! Turns out it was some lost kid from a tribe near there, I’m heading to them now and I’ll most certain write down here what happened.

Of course, if they don’t kill me or something like that.

10.30.2015

I know I missed some days, but hey, I’m alive! And I just had the best dinner of my life! The tribe people got me some special fish they only serve to nomads like me, and it was divine.

The kid I ‘saved’ was the tribe chieftain son, so they kind of see me like a God now or something? I was really busy , they were showing me around and teaching me how to go fishing, hunting and even how to make some antidotes from snakes and from medicinal plants and flowers around there ! I was feeling like I was some kind of alchemist!

I got to know some Llamas and Guanacos who looked just like a Llama but it wasn’t one. It doesn’t matter now, both spit on me when I approached too much, but I got really fond of Tek’huk ! He was the bigger Llama in the farm and he was really gentle, he even let me pet him ! And he didn’t spit on my face, it was some sort of bonus for me.

I have only one day left here and I already feel sad about leaving this place… but they told me I have an special place among them now, that I could return if I wanted !

I’m –sadly- at home already.
The trip back to the airport was ok, I had to get a bus since no one would give me a ride, and then I spent my last 10 bucks. I was crying way too much when I said my farewells for the tribe… they were so kind I feel bad not staying more with them.

I already started gathering more money from work to go in there again, and hopefully to live in there in the near future, after I get to know more about animals….if I can enter in a good veterinary college, I guess.

I can only look at the pictures I took now and feel really nostalgic….

I can't thank them enough. I got many new experiences and even antidotes recipes ! I’ll stop writing now since I –sadly, again- have to go back to my normal life.
